Mr. Dooley was extremely pleasant to work with.  He came on time to do the work.  He cleaned up all the debris afterward and was very nice.  He had to go on the roof to cut the hole for the attic fan and did it quickly and very efficiently.  He ran a new wire from the existing switch  the attic light to put in a switch for the fan.  This was the least expensive of the ways of doing it and we appreciated that very much.  I would recommend him to anyone who needs any electrical work done.

At our house, we needed a conduit run from the side of our house to our air conditioning unit in the back.  We were in the process of having our house resided, and our siding crew was very unpredictable as to when they would show up to work on our house.  I had had Joe give me a bid on this conduit, but suddenly the siders showed up one morning and insisted the electrical work had to be done immediately.  I called Joe in a panic, and he dropped what he was doing (as I recall, he was in the process of buying a car) and came over to handle the conduit immediately.  He did a meticulous job--unlike the previous conduit, which was really unsightly, he ran it under the bottom of the siding so that it isn't even visible.  At my mother's house, he did an equally careful job, replacing many two-prong outlets with grounded three-prong outlets; encasing live wires that for some unknown reason were exposed in her laundry room; and fixing another wiring problem in her garage.  Joe is a very nice man as well as a competent electrician, and I highly recommend him!

Joe arrived on time at 8:30am on a Tuesday. He was polite and professional from the minute he came into the house. We went through the house and I pointed out the problems I wanted him to address. We discussed the electrical issues and he spent several hours in the attic and basement assessing the situation with the wiring. He then attacked each wiring situation one at a time. He was in our home for 4 days and while he didn't expect the work to take that long, he meticulously rewired and repaired the areas that needed work. He also let me know when something was not up to code and asked me if I wanted it repaired. Some unexpected problems arose when boxes were closed in behind walls. We talked about the problems and in the end, I asked him to bring them up to code. Every day he arrived and talked about when he had accomplished and what he planned to do on that day. The whole experience was easy and fluid. He went out to purchase parts that we needed as well which saved us much anxiety and time.

Great! Joe was always on time, answered any question I had clearly and thoroughly both in person and over the telephone and was very clear on all costs including the costs of hypothetical problems that could have arisen. He was extremely precise in every cut that he made into my walls and exact in each hole that he drilled. This was professionalism at its best!
