It went well. We are having to stain the brick that we chose because we could not find the same brick again, but the job was done well and looks good so far.
Description of Work: Our garage was in need of help. Brick above the garage had cracked and was coming down. Duane tore down the bricks, raised the height of the garage opening and found a brick layer to replace the brick.

DUWAYNE HAS GREAT ATTENTION FOR THE DETAILS. HE HAD RESPECT FOR OUR TIME AND WORKED AROUND OUR SCHEDULES. HE IS WONDERFUL AND I WOULD ABSOLUTELY HIRE HIM AGAIN. I CAN PROMISE THAT YOU WON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AS DUWAYNE WILL FIND ANY ISSUES BEFORE YOU DO. WHEN WE CALLED DOWN HIS LIST OF REFERENCES, WE WERE IMPRESSED THAT EVERY PERSON CALLED US BACK WITH POSITIVE EXPERIENCES. I EXPECTED MANY ISSUES TO COME UP WITH A BASEMENT FINISH BUT DUWAYNE MADE THIS VERY EASY. HE IS A GREAT COMMUNICATOR WHO KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING. WE APPRECIATED HIS MANY SUGGESTIONS AS HIS EXPERIENCE MEANT THAT HE KNEW THE DETAILS DISTINGUISHED HIM FROM OTHER CONTRACTORS. OTHERS WHO WORK WITH DUWAYNE HAVE THE SAME GREAT RESPECT FOR HIM THAT I DO. WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BASEMENT AND I WISH THE REST OF MY HOUSE HAD THE SAME ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND QUALITY.
Description of Work: BASEMENT FINISH - APPROX. 1100 SQUARE FEET INCLUDING CARPETING. WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL STONE FIREPLACE PUT IN ALONG WITH CUSTOM ENTERTAINMENT CABINETS AND A DRY BAR IN A FAMILY ROOM. WE ALSO HAD A FULL BATH AND BEDROOM FINISHED ALONG WITH TWO CLOSETS AND A STORAGE CABINET. WE FOUND DUWAYNE THROUGH ROBIN BROOKINS WHO IS ALSO LISTED ON ANGIE'S LIST. HER HUSBAND, CURT, (WHO DID OUR DRYWALL AND CEILING SEPARATELY) FOUND OUT WE WERE LOOKING FOR A GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO FINISH OUR BASEMENT. HE HAD STRONG RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DUWAYNE. WE HAD HORRIBLE LUCK TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO EVEN FOLLOW THROUGH WITH A QUOTE WHO SEEMED INTERESTED IN FINISHING THE BASEMENT. DUWAYNE WAS ALWAYS ON TIME AND FINISHED ON BUDGET AS HE QUOTED US. HIS QUOTE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE WITH ANOTHER QUOTE WE RECEIVED BUT HIS WAS DEFINITELY MORE DETAILED.
