All American Appliance Repair

Was quick, cleaned up after himself, and was professional.  

Had a major malfunction with the dishwasher.  Turns out we have been using tooooo much detergent over the years and we finally reached the tipping point.

I am prolifically disappointed with All American Appliance Repair. Dave came to my house a couple of times and tried to repair my washing machine. Dave showed up and he inspected the machine and determined that he felt a part should be replaced in order to make it work again.  Dave ordered the part and returned to our home a couple weeks later to install the part.  Upon replacing this part, the machine continued to have the same error code and did not work.  He was dumbfounded and could not determine the problem.  He stated that he would write a report based on his work and findings and submit it to the home warranty insurance company. 
Over 20 days passed and he did not submit the report.  Even after the insurance company escalated the issue to their Repair Contractor Service Department and attempted to contact this company by phone and email every day!  The other day I called to follow-up directly.  After saying "Hi Dave! This is Scott Spande. How are you?" CLICK!  I then tried calling back, giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he would not answer any calls after that.  I have no idea why he would behave so disrespectfully and rudely.  This is not how a company should operate and treat its' customers. I am going to make sure that the BBB and Angie's List reflect this Company's poor judgement and unsatisfactory customer service.
Dave failed to complete the job and he failed to fulfill his obligations which he was paid to do by the insurance company.  On top of that, he was negligent in his actions and rude to not answer any follow-up calls and hang up on me unprovoked.
Sears Appliance repair just left my home and they found that the pressure hose had a hole in it.  The $7.00 hose was replaced and the machine works fine.  The work only took 20 minutes to diagnose and 10 minutes to repair. 

The service went good. He came in for consultation, and we ended up replacing the refrigerator. He had good reviews on Angie's List, and so we decided to go with him. He came and looked at our refrigerator which wasn't cooling things and he told us what needed to be replaced, and it was the same as buying a new refrigerator.

My fairly new washing machine stopped spinning/draining. I called All American and Dave promptly explained what he was pretty sure was wrong. The safety switch was broken and needed replacing. He explained what that would cost. I made an appointment and Dave was exactly on time. He verified the problem was the safety switch and he replaced it. I also asked him while he was there to replace my rubber hoses to the washer with metal. He did that and was finished quickly. He worked neatly and the washer seems fine now.

Company guarantees arrival on time for repairs.  Scheduled an appointment on November 10th for installation of a new dishwasher on November 14th.  Received a call five minutes past arrival time on the 14th, claiming store was burglarized and asking to reschedule.  Rescheduled for following morning, November 15 at 8:00.  Owner promised to personally appear at 8:00 a.m.  Received call at 8:15 on the 15th that repairman was on the way but stuck in traffic.   Person never arrived, and subsequent calls and emails went unanswered.
