"They did great. The entire surface was level and free from tripping hazards. It is important to have them seal the cracks because there will be water from snow melt and the concrete will move. This will get you the 5 yr warrantee just in case."

"My driveway was repaved about a month and a half ago. I was led to believe from the estimator, as well as the written estimate, that my entire driveway would be *milled*, or cut down (lowered) so that when the new asphalt was put down, my driveway would not be any higher (a concern for me, hoping not to add issues for me when mowing). Now my driveway IS higher and I have to mow so that I do not cross the driveway while mowing or else the mower deck will bottom-out. I have to wait to see about the quality of the asphalt; it seems like it is dried out and needs a sealer. There is also a bit of a hump where there had been a repair joint, so I am guessing it will not be long before I have a crack there."

"Mark and his crew were quick and professional, we were able to do our popcorn ceiling removal completed within 1 week for the whole house. I also asked him about another project and he was able to provide me a quote the next business day. Will definitely work with him for my next project."

"I recently hired Pouring Praise Concrete to pour a new patio and sidewalk at my home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! The team was professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail. The quality of their work is outstanding, and the new patio and sidewalk look fantastic. They truly exceeded my expectations. I would strongly recommend Pouring Praise Concrete to anyone in need of concrete services. They are, without a doubt, the best company in the business!"

"The owner of the company is courteous and prompt. He arrives when he says he'll arrive. I asked him if he could repair a botched concrete job (by another company) I had on my sidewalk last year. I thought it would cost a substantial amount to repair, but he didn't charge nearly as much as I was expecting and did the job immediately. I was extremely pleased. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others or ask him to do more work."

"I originally had Tom come out to draw up some landscaping ideas for me. During our discussion he mentioned that he also does concrete work like driveways and sidewalks. I asked him if he would give me a quote to do my driveway. He said maybe we could work out a trade, a new driveway for a 1999 GMC pickup that has been sitting next to my garage for years. We made a verbal agreement and it was a done deal. I got rid of a truck and got a new driveway, talk about killing two birds. It all happened pretty quick too. The size of the driveway and the quality of work could not have been any better. His workers were friendly and at times entertaining. They work very well together, putting any of my concerns at ease. The service before, during and after was unbelievably great. It went so well I thought it was too good to be true and something had to go wrong but it didn't, Tom wouldn't allow it. I finally found someone that was as big, if not a bigger perfectionist than myself. My wife and I couldn't be happier."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Pressure washing your home or fence can make a major difference in the appearance and may even help extend the life of the structure you’re cleaning. Some of the most common areas that people pressure wash around their property include:

  • Driveway: $100–$250

  • Patio: $100–$200

  • Fence: $150–$300

  • Gutters: $50–$150

  • Roof: $450–$700

  • Siding: $150–$1,400

  • One-story house: $150–$750

  • Two-story house: $400–$1,400

  • Three-story house: $700–$1,800

Yes, a pressure washer uses less water than a garden hose. There are many ways to use a pressure washer, and it can be an eco-friendly hose substitute. While a pressure washer expels water with greater force, it uses 50% to 70% less water than a garden hose. Specifically, hoses put out six to 10 gallons per minute (GPM), while pressure washers only use two to five GPM.

Experts typically recommend pressure washing your driveway at least once per year to keep it looking great while preventing stains, cracks, and unwanted vegetation. However, if your driveway gets a lot of use, you might want to pressure wash it more often to keep it looking like new.

It is generally not recommended to use dish soap in a pressure washer. Dishwashing liquid is formulated for cooler water, and the warmer water used in a pressure washer can create excessive suds, potentially damaging the machine's tubing and other components. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions for recommended detergents. If you find yourself in a pinch, you can try a highly diluted solution, such as one tablespoon of dish soap per 1.5 quarts of water, to avoid clogging the machine.

It depends on the type of surface, but if you’re preparing to pressure wash a driveway, you’ll start by using a broom or leaf blower to get rid of dirt, leaves, and other debris. Then, move any nearby items (like outdoor furniture and potted plants) and cover in-ground plants with a tarp or plastic sheet. After that, you can apply degreaser spray or another pretreatment solution to any stains and scrub them with a stiff brush before pressure washing.
