Description of Work: It has been quite some time since I used this service, so I don't know the date or approximate cost of service. However, what I do remember is being VERY happy with Jim's help with my grandfather clock disaster. I have 2 other chime clocks that may need repair down the road and Jim is the person I will call.

Description of Work: Jim inspected and determined that the antique school clock did not have a |broken main spring, rather a minor problem that he was able to repair with |an adjustment to a component. I spoke with Jim prior to, and following the repair and was totally satisfied with his service. The clock is owned |by my brother who is disabled, and he was extremely pleased to have his |treasured clock back in working order. I might add that this transaction |was done long distance, as I live in Washington State and my brother in |Minnesota. It was reassuring to know that I was able to contact a reputable vendor that was able to take care of the problem.

 + -1 moreHe cleaned the mechanism and showed us how the clock worked. Very low pressure and a reasonable price. He also told us if we had any problems we could call him back, but there have been no problems whatsoever. The clock works great.
