Dylan removed a few trees that were too close to my house. Dylan was great to work with. He responded fast, took care of the house/fence/yard while removing the trees and cleaned up afterwards. Charged exactly what he quoted and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

First, Jim was very quick to come out for estimate (which I received via email, along with copy of current insurance, etc - very complete and professional). Jim and his crew did a fantastic job. Took down a giant of a tree (that was 10 ft from the house) - in a yard that had no alley access. They used a crane and took it out over roof. They were quick, cleaned up and were just great overall. I have recommended them many times over!

Jim was very responsive to my requests, even calling me back early on a Sunday morning!! The work was completed to my specifications and there was no mess waiting for me to clean up when I came home. The price is excellent and I will use them again.

The silver maple required him to use a crane to lift the sawn limbs over the house to the front yard.
He was able to access a smaller cherry picker mounted on a unique vehicle of his own construction to cut the limbs off of the standing tree into pieces that the crane could then lift over the house.
Using a second home-made vehicle he was able to lift huge pieces of the main trunk over a fence in our back yard for disposal.
The yard was cleaned up well after the project was completed.
He and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Contacted Jim and he came out within a week for an estimate. He was the best price by  some 30%+ lower than other tree people. I had 5 estimates and other tree people seemed scared of the project as the tree was hanging over 2 houses in a bad position. The removal was done in a timely fashion and the clean up was spot on. After removal he billed me and I paid  him. Nice guy , seems like a small family owned business which I like. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

My experience was great. They did a really good job cleaning up my yard and hauled everything away. I had to take down part of my fence for them to get into my yard, and they put it back up before they left.  They were friendly and quick. I was very happy with the service.

I was very pleased with the service from start to finish.  I had received two additional price quotes from other providers that were recommended on Angie's List but the bid from J&S was the lowest.  After I accepted the bid, Jim removed the tree ahead of his estimated date.  His crew was very efficient and did a great job of cleaning up.  This was the third time I have used J&S for tree service and each time I have been satisfied with the job.

Everything went just great. Within a week or so I came home from work and the job had been completed. The tree was gone and the yard looked like it had been swept with a broom. Couldn't even tell the crew was there. Great job! I would recommend J&S to anyone who needs any tree removal or trimming.

After this happened I spoke with numerous other tree trimmers, the city arborist, and a professional tree consultant. What Mr. Swenson did goes against every professional practice in the industry. It seems no other tree trimmers would even agree to do this if they were asked, or they would require the owner to sign a waiver relieving them of liability for it first. I believe that initially this was an honest mistake by Mr. Swenson. Albeit one that doesn't say much for his competence, but an honest mistake none the less. These things happen sometimes. However, once Mr. Swenson realized his mistake instead of being honest about it and at least trying to make it right, he became belligerent, accusatory, and dishonest. He's gone to some length to fabricate his own story and has outright lied about what I said. He threatened to dump tree debris on my property. The judge denied him payment for the tree.

Very friendly, did an awesome job and the price was incredible.
