.Every thing went fine. I have used Mr Kivel on numerous occasions and he does superb work. I would recommend him for all endeavors. As a foot note,the work area is immaculate following the completion of the job.

Kris, owner of Home Distinction Inc, has performed numerous projects for me, including building a 16'x16' four season porch addition with deck, including fireplace, overhead lighting, bay window, built in shelves and cedar deck. A few years later I switched to heated tile floors, which meant adding another footing, and also built a large maintenance free screened in deck with 'widow-walk' around the outside of it, using materials like Trex decking. Electrical service was moved, the garage interior was redone with lighting, plywood walls and proper insulation. A complete re-do of the basement bathroom was done, including heated tile floors, all new tiled shower with seat and overhead light, new toilet and vanity with granite counter. Every person who has seen that bathroom has been awed. Later we redid all the trim and doors in the upstairs of the home, as well as removed a wall between two bedrooms and recarpeted the whole area. In each case, the work was completed in a timely, professional manner. They stay working on the project for the most part until it's done, except when weather or materials cause delays. Manages subcontractors well. Fits in my little projects as he can and is honest about when he can do projects. Works with more experienced 'handy-men' who know how to fix old things and retrofit, and have watched his skills increase over the years. There are a few minor things where I think he could have done something a little different, but is receptive to such criticism. Have been a few rare occasions over these many years where I felt I had to nag at him a bit to get some small things done but these are minor considering the amount of work I've had done and I include this criticism only to show that no one is perfect. His prices are always within reason - not lowest bid nor highest, and for me, reliability and trust go a LONG way. I prefer to give repeat business to a good contractor/vendor. Uses good quality materials. Has high standards for subcontractors and listened when I had concerns with the work of a particular sub (not quality but professionalism). His work is exacting and all the neighbor guys comment on the straight lines, 90 degree angles and overall quality. I can recommend him without reservation, though I warn the type A personalities that he (like me) is a B. But he gets an A for his work.

The personnel seemed to be very perfectionist with how he did his job.

The job went well.

Workmanship was outstanding in all areas. Protective cloths were put down to limit dirt. Total affected area were work was done was cleaned to perfection. Work rating is excellent.
