About us
Dupont Decks is a family-owned business that was founded by Justin Dupont in January 2000. Justin worked for many years as a crew foreman for other construction and remodeling companies and noticed that most of the companies lacked in the area of communication and customer service. Being a homeowner himself, he knew that customer service and communication were two of the most important qualities needed in running a successful remodeling business. And so Dupont Decks was created. We take great pride not only in our excellent craftsmanship, unique custom building and design process and high quality materials, but also in the fact that we treat our customers just like we would want to be treated if we were doing a deck or porch project on our own home. We know that our customers are the most important part of our business. Great communication from beginning to end of project! Very knowledgeable of the products & very helpful in assisting me in choosing colors that would look good together. I contracted Dupont Decks to complete a complete demolition and rebuild of a new 14x20 deck with Timbertech Legacy decking with Westbury deck railing complete with a drink rail also of the Timbertech material. Also, a 4' width stairs were built to accommodate a 9' height. Dupont used diamond footings and built a new frame as well. The finished product is a very nice-looking contemporary deck. Very solidly built. The installers completed top-notch work. The sales and site-planning staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our project timeline. I am very pleased that we chose Dupont Decks for our project. I would recommend them as a top deck builder in the Twin City market. Duane H.

The folks at Dupont Construction created a timeline and met it despite material delays beyond their control. The result was a beautiful 12x25 foot floating deck that may last longer than the house that it’s next to! What really impressed us was the attitude of the foreman who noticed some dirt fell back into the post holes after a hard rain and he had his crew did them out again. His comment was “If it’s not good enough for my deck, it’s not good enough for your deck”. Once he said that, I knew we were in good hands. We highly recommend Dupont Construction for any of your decking needs!

We would highly recommend Dupont! Our project was an everything that could go wrong would go wrong sort of deal - COVID, weather, the CITY. However, Dupont worked with us to resolve all of the things that seemed to fly into our paths. Because of issues with our city our project faced delays but Dupont worked with us diligently to keep things moving and keep us informed. It was very clear that customer service and customer satisfaction were very important and we appreciated that. When taking on a large project like this one must expect things to pop up - my true measure of success is how the vendor will respond to them. Dupont exceeded my expectations. We are finally out enjoying our deck and are very happy!

We have been getting bids for the last four years for a deck. Finally we found a vendor who was amazing. Their honesty, workmanship, reliability, and project management went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Dupont for your construction needs. If you want a fantastic experience ask for Ron as your carpenter. Ron was incredible, very skilled, very nice, answered all our dumb questions and always had a smile and was very cheerful.

My husband and I are writing this review on behalf of his mother who owns the house. We all had a great experience with Dupont Decks! Justin, Brooke, Lindsay, and Amanda were professional and very friendly! We emailed a lot of questions and inquiries, and they always responded promptly. The deck/stairs themselves are solid and built with high quality material… We haven’t been able to enjoy yet as the snow covered them a day after it was completed! We look forward to enjoying them this coming spring/summer!
