Jan was wonderful to work with. We had lived in our previous home for a long time and she gave us wonderful advice as to how to freshen and update the home. She also provided great advice regarding new carpeting, flooring and painting. In addition (upon request) she recommended handymen to assist in the renovation process. With her help it didn't cost a lot to make our old home look really fresh and nice and the home sold very well.
Jan also assisted in helping us search for and purchase our current home. As we decided to build a twin home, and she is also an interior designer, she helped us choose the details such as fixtures, fireplace surround, wood, countertops, etc. She is such a wonderful person to work with. The best part of the entire process was the day we moved in, her "blinds" person was at our home installing all the window coverings in the entire house!! During the next couple of months she also added those "touches" to our house that made it an attractive home! It was a wonderful experience.
Yesterday (2/3/15) we met with Jan Wentland again. After 12 years in this residence we have decided to move to Illinois to be closer to our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. The first person we called was Jan to assist us in the move and selling this home. She has already started looking at market surveys, etc. and will meet with us again after we return from a quick trip to IL so we can discuss changes needed to show this home well.
Bottom line, if you are ever looking for the best realtor in the Twin Cities, MN area we recommend Jan Wentlandd!
Our listing on MLS was great, nice photos, nice flyers for the open houses we had, and she was always responsive.
