Todd does a great job, we've had him out before to help with downed trees and clean up on our property. We feel good hiring a local business, and we will hire him again!

Todd and his crew did an excellent job removing several trees and trimming others. They were very conscientious and did a great job cleaning up after the work was done. Getting a quote and scheduling service was done in a timely way.

Todd was accessible for questions beforehand. I was not home when he came but I had texted him a picture of what I needed to have trimmed. He came and did it and since he charges a minimum fee ($300) he went ahead and trimmed some extra branches at no additional charge that were dead since the job I had hired him for was so small. Definitely will call on him again.

He was there and gone. The yard was cleaned up exceptionally well. Extremely satisfied.

Faster than expected and an enormous amount (upwards of 30+) trees cut and moved allowing me to restore quite a lot of clean and cleared woodland which is now again manageable for weekend warrior work which I can now handle myself. The project as a whole was pricey but in respect to the highs and lows of what tree work costs it fell within the lower range of both high and low average pricing. I have no regrets. No complaints. And I'm a happy camper with Northern Tree Specialist's services.

Sometimes it takes an emergency or urgent situation to separate the good contractors from the great ones, and Todd from Northern Tree Specialists is definitely one of the great ones! First, he answered his phone on an early Sunday morning (even though it was his day off) when no one else would, and after patiently listening to my dilemma, offered to come out just a few hours later. His knowledge and expertise were obvious as he quickly and confidently implemented a plan to get the tree down in a very tight working area without any damage to our cabin roof or surrounding trees. I thought the cost was very fair based on the fact it was a weekend, and given the difficulty of the job. He also quoted us a fair price to complete the cleanup with brush removal etc., but we opted to do it ourselves with the help of neighbors. It was such a relief to have the tree taken care of before we left the cabin later that afternoon, and It felt good to tell the other contractors, when they finally did call back the following afternoon, that the job had already been done. Todd and his crew showed up when promised and took care of a very dangerous and difficult tree removal. They finished in time for us to get the roof covered before the rain came. I called Todd Wednesday and he showed up Thursday morning.

He responded to give us an estimate. When he saw the tough situation we were in he offered to do it immediately. He was very professional and the whole process took less than an hour. He gave us the choice to clean up or he could come back and do it for additional fee. We appreciated having a choice and did it ourselves.

His fast response and knowledge was very much appreciated -- we canceled the other two bids when he said he could do it immediately. 

The whole process went very smoothly.  Todd was the man!!  Todd did all of the climbing and made all of the important cuts.  He had two other men with him that shagged wood, cleaned up, hauled debris and ran the chipper.

They were excellent all the way around.  They were on time and very professional, and they got everything done in about an hour. 

I can not say enough about Todd and his crew! Todd's professionalism was obvious the night he came out to give us a bid. He was polite, knowledgeable and prompt. He followed through on everything he said he would do and was flexible when we requested a bit more be done. He and his crew worked hard and fast to complete the task and did an excellent job of cleaning up. No problems whatsoever.   He was professional, extremely fast, careful not to damage anything in the surrounding area, and
charged what he quoted us.  We would definitely hire him again and will recommend him to our friends.

Todd was a complete pleasure to work with, I would not hesitate for a minute to hire him again, Todd and his crew came on time and worked right through the day to get the work down. They had to cut down some large trees, and Todd had to drop the trees in some tight spaces,but he did it. If anyone needs to have work done on trees, Todd is the man to call without a doubt! I called Todd Gould from Northern Tree Specialists and asked for an estimate. He called me back promptly and came by to provide an estimate when agreed. He called before coming to take the tree down and was on time. He did an exceptional job of taking the branches down and the tree avoiding my other trees and my flag pole. I was very pleased with the work. Very safe and professional. I will definately use him again and wholeheartedly recommend his service.

The work was completed when Todd said it would be.  I wanted the "good" wood cut in 18 inch blocks and left for firewood.  Unfortunately the blocks were cut to 12 inches which made them too short for my little hand operated hydraulic splitter.  When I told Todd about this he came out and used an axe to split all of those logs.  I am a female senior and I couldn't haul some ot the wood up a hill to my woodpile-Todd did it for me.  He will have any future business and I will refer him to anyone who needs his services.

Everything went fine and quickly, both skilled professionals.
