I had just bought the house and needed to get the living room painted immediately because I could not live with the color, and I couldn't start unpacking until the painting was done. Mick was able to come out on short notice. He was extremely accommodating to my schedule. He has an excellent work ethic. He showed up promptly when promised, worked efficiently, and was tidy. Most importantly, he did a beautiful job. I plan to have him come back for additional remodeling work.

It was a great experience

He did a basement for us initially and we liked him a deal so we’ve had him back for some smaller jobs. He does quality, conscientious work. He doesn’t cut corners, he is dependable, he comes when he says he is going to, he finishes when he says he is going to, and he just does fantastic work.

We had debated doing some or most of the basement finishing project on our own. We were referred to Mick by a friend so we requested a bid. He listened to what I had planned, asked some questions, took measurements that day and then had an estimate to us within a few days. Some design decisions were made before he arrived, some final decisions were made on the fly by us. He interpreted my vision very well, and used his experience to provide feedback when I wanted/needed it, but he was never pushy. We both understood up front that we wanted it done well, and he clearly cares a great deal about his work. I was impressed with how many different skills he displayed while working on the basement. He frequently asked me if i was happy with everything. If something wasn't exactly how we wanted it, he was always eager to tweak it.
