Mike is very genuine. He sat down and explained everything to me. He is a great trouble shooter. He and his dad have been in business for over 40 years. They know how to make suggestions and correct the problems.

I definitely choose the right company to do the job. The 2nd generation family owned business did awesome work. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew. They were all just genuine, hardworking people that knew their business well. Reasons they got the job and would get it again; experience and full-service. I didn't need to get separate estimates for tree/brush removal. Mike is a very friendly no b.s. kind of guy, he was very concerned about preserving my existing landscaping and mature trees in the woods, they took the effort to carefully work around those areas with minimum disturbance. They even moved and replaced a 4' Balsam tree, a Rhododendron, some perennials and a large boulder. He clearly explained the whole process to me, he kept in contact with me via cell phones and was always available for my questions. The company is on the counties web site, they warranty their work against freeze-up. He worked within my schedule (late Fall) so as not to stress all my plants, they cleanly saw cut my driveway. Because I'll be listing my house this coming Spring 09, I was extremely concerned everything was done correctly, better than code and that it looked very similar to what it did before the construction process. He and his team accomplished that. I was so impressed with the end result, even my Realtor was very surprised and pleased. I would hire them for any excavating job.
