He was very friendly...was lowest estimate and completed the work for even less than est....painted with a brush..by himself...took 4-5 days...would definitely use him again...

We hired Mike to paint our basement that includes a living room and two bedrooms. It was an awful job done, I agree with the other review about him partially painting, The walls were not even completely covered, It was unreal I cannot even begin to explain how bad of a paint job it was and how unprofessional he is. When I called him to discuss it he joked about getting older and maybe his eyes getting bad because he was using two floor lights and a headlamp. I think he may need to retire then because it was very very obvious the walls were not covered. He originally refused to paint another coat stating that his labor is not free. Well, if the job was done right the first time he wouldn't need to worry about labor costs. The accent wall he repainted was done so fast and terrible we now have paint splatters on our other walls next to it. My husband had to go buy paint and repaint one of the bedrooms because Mike did a "patch" roller job that made it look worse because he refused to repaint the room. He uses the excuse of bad lighting as it seems which is not the case. It goes on and on the problems we had with him so if you are looking to pay someone to paint and then have to redo it yourself then give him a try. Once I have started asking around about Mike and telling people about the terrible experience we had I have been told Nick Slavik his son has his own painting business and does a great job. I cannot review Nick on personal basis but word of mouth tells all.

We were not home when the porch was painted. When we saw it, the painting was done however when the ceiling of the porch was painted drops were allowed to dry on the floor and painted over when the floor was painted. Very noticeable. The railings and spokes were partially painted. Numerous spokes were missed on the inside, facing the inside of the porch. We called and complained. His excuse was that it was so sunny he couldn't see the missed spots. He agreed the floor was not acceptable. They did come out and paint again. We were not happy that they left the job the way it was the first time. If it was too sunny to see they should have painted at a time that they could. They did a good job fixing it but we felt we should not have had to call them to fix it in the first place.

Both painting jobs Mike did for us were exceptional.  We would most certainly use him again for our painting needs.
