Vickie was very professional and knowledgeable. She hemmed several pairs of pants flawlessly and for a good price. She also lengthened the pants and sleeves on a boys tuxedo and it looked better than I could have imagined afterward - gave us another year to use it. It is not easy to find a tailor anymore, so hang onto this one!

Vickie did a great job repairing a hem of my pants and tailoring a shirt to make it more flattering. The work was done within a very reasonable amount of time and the price was very competitive. She was easy to work with and was very sweet to my two year-old daughter who came along with me.

Vickie was fabulous from start to finish! Very accommodating, professional and just the nicest person. She got me in right away and finished both mine and my daughter's dress before her estimate and talked through a number of things with me (proper care of the dress, how/where to consign, etc.) I also thought I would need to get my daughter's dress taken in but Vickie explained that she would essentially have to take apart the whole dress, which she would do, but suggested an alternative and much less expensive option that turned out perfectly! She even gifted both my daughter and me with a beaded bracelet as a token of appreciation AND gave me a gift to pass on to the bride. I would recommend Vickie to anyone looking for alterations!!!

Vickie was so kind, professional and sweet. She took the sides in on my daughter’s dress without actually cutting material out, so it can be let out again. She finished the crinoline for free and was very fast. She also gave us information on selling our dresses after the wedding.

She really cares about her work. Vickie did a good job making you feel comfortable. She first asked what I wanted then she asked what the bride wanted. We chatted & she pinned the dress. She gave me some tips for the wedding day. She is good at what she does.

Vickie was a true professional. This was a tricky job because of the satin like fabric of the coat the multiple lagers the new zipper had to be attached to Vickie performed the work in one day. I am very pleased with the results. and she was very kind and accommodating in setting up drop off & pick up times as well.

Vickie was extremely professional and very accommodating. She squeezed me in over Christmas break time and had it back within a week. She made me feel very comfortable in her home and gave me tons of tips when dealing with my dress. She ended up shortening the straps of my dress, installing bra clips to hold bra in place, a better eye hook by zipper, and stitching the front up a bit to make it less revealing. She did all of this for $20! She gave me lots of tips to sell/donate my dress as well. The dress looks great and I could not be happier, would highly recommend.

Vickie first fitted me for the waist alterations and when those were complete, she had me try on each pair of slacks with shoes of varying heel heights. She's very professional and understands quality, which shows in her work. I was surprised to learn that she does her hemming by hand. She told me she enjoys it and prefers the result over machined hems. She's quite personable, and I plan to take all my future alteration projects to her. Great experience!

Vickie is friendly, helpful. She knows everything about what she does-sewing business. She had me put on each jacket and then she pinned the areas she would be faking in. she pressed each item wing on hanger and put plastic over to protect, very professional.

You could also tell that she loved what she did and had great stories to tell about her adventures in sewing. She went to work quickly pinning and marking where she would make the alterations. She was finished with the dress in about a week. Once we picked up the dress and tried it on, we were delighted with the new perfect fit! She also gave us information on local stores who took prom dresses on consignment, along with a charity we could donate the dress after the Prom. Vickie did an awesome job with the alterations and hemming of my daughters prom dress.  She was quick and also  accommodating  of our various schedules to come in for a fitting.  The cost was reasonable and if I need alterations done in the future I will use Vickie.  She also gave us good tips to use in the care and storage of the dress. 

I found out at the last minute I needed my 2 layer dress shortened and the straps were too long. Vicky did everything so quickly and for such a great price. Totally amazing.
