The service was good. The workers were good. They could not do anything differently. I got in and out. They were friendly and honest.

They forgot to put the tailpipe on after putting the muffler on. I had to take it back to the shop and the one they put on looks kind of long. I thought it was kind of pricey. They really cater to people though. They have racks of cookies and coffee. They also have a shuttle service. They have a guarantee, but I haven't had to use it. It took about two hours, which is kind of lengthy for a muffler.

It turns out that Honest 1 Auto put on the wrong oil filter. It didn't have a sensor installed and it didn't fit properly. The certified mechanic at the dealer said I should not drive it. I had to line up a tow truck to tow my vehicle to the dealership and have them correct the matter.
The total bill for the oil change was $24.00. The total bill for the tow and diagnostic was around $200. We told Honest 1 that we were sending them a bill for the total amount we had to spend because of their mistake. As of today, we have not heard back from them. They offered to fix the problem they caused but we had stated we didn't want to work with them anymore. If you brought a vehicle with 3100 miles in for an oil change and it left in worse condition, would YOU want to bring it back to the same place? That was a question we asked the manager.
The man who initially helped me was very apologetic. I want to commend him for his professionalism. The manager or managers we dealt with never offered a refund on the oil change...something that I feel would have been a step in the right direction. While they tried helping, they are running a business where the mechanics are totally uneducated about newer engines and vehicles.
If they compensate for the extra money we had to pay for their mistake, I would think about bringing my older vehicle back to them. I would NEVER bring them a new vehicle.
UPDATE: Checking their website, I see that they aren't even ASE certified. I never knew that and will not be doing business with them.

It seem like it was a fair price and it was fixed the next day. They were fast and it seemed reasonable.
We got it back and it is working good.

Very poor customer service and too many people doing nothing standing around.

While everyone was extremely friendly and they stayed late to get my vehicle done, there was trouble with getting the parts when promised. I dropped it off on Friday and picked it up after closing on Monday. They did save me over 1/2 the cost of having it diagnosed at the dealership. They put together a quote for the work and we discussed over the phone. Later, when I requested the written quote be emailed to me, it took three requests and 2 different email addresses, I never received it. I drove to the shop and had them print one for me. I was not in my spam mail.

There was a little mix-up with that. I didn't realize the big deal was for the Honest-1 Auto Care in Roseville. I live in New Hope. There's a location 6 blocks away. They transferred it over to my local Honest-1. They still gave me the deal. The work turned out just fabulous. It was just a great experience. It was really nice of them to be willing to still give me the big deal. They're owned by different people. I also had some coupons from them that they honored. I ended up getting about $1000 worth of car repairs done that day. They gave me, what I thought, were really reasonable prices, after checking around at dealerships. The price between them and the dealerships were quite dramatic. They told me if I they thought something was absolutely necessary or if they thought I could get by for so long. I think they were very honest. I haven't had any trouble with the work that was done. Everything seems to be just wonderful. They're very good about making sure you're a happy customer. If there's anything wrong with it, they will apparently make good on it after quite some time. I'm really, really pleased with them. I would absolutely go back and have them do more work for me. They only use the best parts.

They were very informative. The mechanic was very quick. He didn't waste any time. I didn't have to wait around a lot. Their waiting area was very comfortable and clean. He was very informative as to what my car needed and not needed. He didn't try to oversell.
