Mike's Power Wash has served the West Twin Cities Metro area since 1998. We are dedicated to preserving and beautifying a variety of surfaces - from the peak of your roof to the end of your driveway. We specialize in Pressure Washing, Cedar/Asphalt Roof Cleaning and Seal, House wash, Soft Wash, Anti Algae treatments, Deck Clean and Stain, Spring/Fall Gutter Cleaning, Fence Clean & Seal, Roof Snow and Steam Process Ice Dam Removal, and other General pressure washing. I am a pressure washer by trade and I do pressure washing/steaming all year round so I have full time year round experience in my field. "Thanks for the review. The Cabot oil stain product used for the decks is recommended for decks being sealed for the first time. We have used the product several times and the product works correctly and is beautiful however in this situation the residents felt the decking needed more product and color which was possibly due to the condition of the wood used for the decking by the builder or the environmental conditions, causing the stain to look uneven. There were many knots in the wood and the stain seemed to penetrate more in some areas even though the stain was applied correctly. After communicating with the Cabot technical team and showing them the pictures of the deck, we were advised to lightly apply a second coat and that seemed to even out the color. Unfortunately wood decking with knots in it will look uneven because of the grain and pores of the wood that accept stain differently. As wood weathers and ages, it darkens and the stain will look different on it than new wood being stained the first time. We recommend starting out with a light stain because of the darkening process. Sometimes when people are used to seeing a darker stained deck they may get confused when they see a newer deck with a light stain on it even though the wood is stained and protected. We are glad the second coat helped even out the color in this case and made the deck look a little richer in color. Thanks again."

It looks brand new. He did SUCH a good job, was reasonably priced, and his work was so good, I cannot imagine why anyone would ever use anyone else to clean and stain their deck. I certainly wouldn't. It doesn't get better than this.
I was so impressed that I called my roofer and strongly recommended Mike's Power Wash to him. Roofers are often asked for recommendations. He was delighted to get mine.

We leave an invoice with any concerns that we find in each customers door or call them with a follow up if we can't leave an invoice copy. Sometimes invoices do not always make it into the hands of a homeowner even though one was left for them. We are sorry for any neglect you may have felt. We call all of our gutter customers to see if they are ready for their next cleaning as well as send postcards in the spring.
