Mr. Meis was scheduled to come to our home to give an estimate on a project. He called to re-schedule the initial visit. I managed to arrange to be home for his chosen visit time and he did not show up during his chosen timeframe. When I called him later in the afternoon he said he just finished a job and did not have our contact information. Because we had spoken earlier via phone (I called him, he called me) it seems like my phone number would be available to him. He offered to come over late and I deferred that decision to him. He apparently chose to not perform the estimate. It was a disappointing inconvenience but not unexpected based on the other review of this service provider. Unfortunately Angie’s List only asks whether work was performed by the service provider. In this situation I need to respond ‘no’ because Mr. Meis did not show up. Angie’s List does not allow ‘weight’ to reviews from customers who arrange their schedules around the service provider and then have the provider fail to follow through.

Chris was fantastic! AAA+++! I had a small amount of water coming in my home from the roof due to ice dams. I noticed the water at night. I immediately called Chris late on President's Day about 9pm after I couldn't get through to some other service providers for ice dams. He took my call and said he could come by first thing in the morning for an estimate. He had a better $/hr than others that I called AND he could come the immediate next day! The others couldn't give me an appointment for two days out. Chris was prompt in coming by for the estimate and was very professional. He took the time to answer my questions and relate what he thought was best for my situation. That same day he brought a crew to remove my ice dams to prevent further water seepage into my home. I definitely will be calling on Chris for future projects on my home: very prompt, extremely professional, great service.

Chris did not forward an estimate. And when I contacted him by e-mail after a couple of weeks to request either a response or an indication he was not interested in these projects, he didn't bother to answer. I find that highly unprofessional. It wouldn't bother me if he chose not to bid, but I think he should have indicated he was not interested in the job, since I specifically asked that in my email.

Chris had done a small project for me in the past and done a great job. When I needed someone to do everything that wasn't electrical or plumbing on my bathroom project, I called Chris. He was very easy to work with and did a great job. He also offered great ideas when I had questions.
