I bought the car in twice for some issues. The first time I was charged around 500+ if I

remember correctly. The issue resurfaced

a few months later and I brought the car in.

After they had it for a number of days they came back and said they could

not find how to fix the problem. The

also handed me a bill for another 300+ dollars.

When I said they did not fix anything, they said it still took time to

look at it. I was floored that they

first did not fix it, and charged me the first time, but then to charge me

again and tell me they did not know what was going on was over the top. By the way, I took it to the BMW dealer in

Minneapolis and they fixed it right away.

Said they should have found it.

The issue I have is charging even if they

could not fix it. Should not have been a

charge. Frankly, I should have gotten

the original amount back.

I have been going to Jaq's Garage for many years. The shop is close to my house, the staff is friendly, and they always get my car fixed fast. The one complaint I have is the prices they charge for different repairs. I am a recent college graduate and my money is pretty tight. Charging $45 on an oil change is a little ridiculous in my opinion. I do have a foreign car, so my repairs seem to be a little bit more expensive than most, so I have started looking for a more affordable mechanic. Love everything about Jaq's except the prices. I

My bug runs like a NEW car! $1200 seemed like a lot of money but seriously, it runs like a new car. I highly recommend this garage, these guys are excellent at what they do. You can take your vehicle to Jaq's with confidence and trust that the work you need done is necessary and will be done right. And - you will be treated in a friendly, professional manner.

We were referred to Jaq's Garage by another auto service center, after having several bad experiences with another garage in town. Jaq's was quick to get back to us with an estimate, and they had already looked into some of the issues we thought we were having. They are very knowledgable about our vehicle type; it helped there was a different model sitting in the 'finished' area when we pulled up to drop our car off. Thus far the services rendered have been much cheaper than we expected, with an anticipated final bill well under what we would have spent at the specialty import service garage across town.*44

I thought that their pricing was very reasonable and their were no surprises. The job was done very promptly. We will certainly go back to them again. They were recommended to me by someone else and I have recommended them to others and have found out that they go to them too. They have a good reputation among people I know.
