THE BACKUP PUMP WAS INSTALLED, HOWEVER WAS NOT INSTALLED IN A WAY SUCH THAT IT WOULD WORK (THE SUMP WOULD FILL WITH WATER AND THE PUMP WOULD NOT KICK IN BEFORE THE WATER STARTED SEEPING INTO THE HOUSE). THE PUMP WAS TESTED THE SAME DAY THE PUMP WAS INSTALLED BY A 5 INCH RAIN ALONG WITH 3 HOURS OF POWER OUTAGE. THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THE PUMP WAS NOT INSTALLED LOW ENOUGH IN THE SUMP SO THAT IT WOULD KICK IN BEFORE THE DRAIN TILE FILLED WITH WATER. IT TOOK 3 PHONE CALLS AND OVER A MONTH OF PESTERING THIS CONTRACTOR TO COME BACK AND FIX THE PROBLEM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO DEAL WITH AND OFTEN TIMES WOULD GET EXCUSES ABOUT WHY THEY HADN'T CALLED ME BACK. ALSO, FAILED TO SHOW UP ON TIME EVEN THOUGH WE HAD AGREED 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE ON A DATE THEY WOULD COME BACK TO FIX THE PROBLEM. ONLY AFTER I CALLED THEM 3 TIMES ON THE DAY THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME BACK DID THEY FINALLY SEND SOMEONE OUT TO FIX THE BAD INSTALLATION.
