Home Building
It was a awful experience. There were a number of overages in price that were not explained to us (approximately $10,000). The finish work was really bad. The stair railing is loose and unsafe. The trim work is inadequate and is an eighth of an inch to a quarter of an inch away from the drywall. Our stairs and landing are the incorrect size. The way that he chose to fix it was to put a splice in each stair tread (see picture below). The builder is not willing to work with us to fix any of our concerns. The Builder has been unprofessional and has sworn at us on the phone.
