WOW!! I had ceramic flooring installed about 25 years ago in the above locations. I clean the floors twice weekly using a swiffer wetjet but of course that does nothing to clean the grout. So, after that length of time, the grout was looking pretty disgusting. I contacted Twin Cities Tile and Grout and Jared came to give me an estimate within several days. Due to a time crunch on my part to get it done before out-of-town guests arrived (how could there be a time crunch after 25 years of delay you ask?), Jared arranged to fit the job in the same week. The two gentleman who came were very professional, moved some furniture and boxes that were too heavy for me to move, and did an AMAZING job! I wish I had taken before and after pictures- the flooring now looks just like it did when newly installed! Well worth every penny!

The guys performed excellent work based on our budget. They were honest about their assessment and gave continual feedback during the project. We are very happy with the cleaning and minor grout repairs.

Very quick to come and provide estimate, the actual tiling didnt cover exactly what we had originally discussed but it was close enough. The area was only partially cleaned up after they finished. However, overall the tile looks very nice and my complaints were minor.

The quality of work was most disappointing. The tiles were not replaced evenly. If you run your hand over them they are "bumpy" and uneven. Two of the tiles were chipped on the edges when the work was done. A 5" section of grout (which is white) had turned a rust color. it was never this way before. I called Jared back to inspect the work. He admitted that the tiles were not even, but "that happens." I inquired about the discolored grout and he said it was probably a dampness issue which confused me since he told me that would be addressed, if need be, when they did the project. There was nothing said by the workman during his time here and no extra charges to my bill so I assumed there was no problem. I asked how he can fix the damage they caused by chipping the tiles and was told they couldn't be fixed. He said if I wanted, I could order a product that could be painted on the chipped areas to make them look shiny, but the chips themselves would remain. I would be reimbursed for this product, I would have to order, to fix the damage they caused. I regret using Twin Cities Tile and Grout. I am used to a higher standard of work. It's unfortunate that I started this repair with just a crack in the grout and now have uneven tiles, chipped tiles, discolored grout and I have to order a product that won't even repair damaged they caused. There was no accountability for work that was visibly inferior.

Jim came to the house and listened to my concerns, examined the area to be worked on, and provided a ranged written estimate for time and materials. Lead time to get the work done was just under two weeks - more than acceptable for me, as we had an additional shower in the house to use until the master was repaired. Crew showed up right on time and as far as I can tell, worked diligently while in the house. Polite and always left their shoes at the door when going in and out to the truck, and even put them on rags to avoid dirtying the rug. A nice touch. Ryan was able to save, clean up, and re-use the original shower tile. No structural surprises behind the tile to throw off the work/cost estimate. Took a break for lunch while mortar was setting, then came back and grouted. Caulked the joint in the second bath as it didn't overlap the floor area being repaired. Both bathrooms being worked on were kept clean and tidy. No tools, materials, or debris left behind. Left for the day to let the grout set. Ryan came back as scheduled the next day (half an hour early, actually) to do any finishing of the grout (basically just wipe the surrounding tile clean, I think) and then to caulk the shower joints (can't caulk over wet grout). Everything looks great. Grout colors were matched to the original grout very well. In the second bath, it's almost impossible to tell which grout line is the one that is new. Pretty impressive on an older floor right in the entry under the lights. Was given caulk color choices to choose from during the job and good matches to the tile were suggested. Ryan appears to have a good eye for color. Total cost was within the original estimated range. Had another provider tell me the work would cost less, but was impressed with Jim's professionalism. He came prepared with color samples and was able to provide a solid written estimate on the spot. Overall, very satisfied and would definitely use their services again if/when needed.

Twin Cities Tile and Grout Professionals were great!  We stopped using our master bath shower because water was leaking through the walls.  Then the tile surround in our guest bath shower started to fail as well.  Twin Cities Tile and Grout Professionals  was hired to re-tile both shower areas simultaneously so we could minimize the length of time contractors were in our house.  They were great!  The price was fair, they were punctual, reliable and professional.  We were able to tailor the scope of work to stay within a budget, and they were patient with us as we shopped for materials.  When they discovered more extensive water damage that was anticipated, they clearly explained the problem and how to fix it at a reasonable cost. Most of all, they were respectful of our young kids' naps and tried to schedule the loudest tasks when the kids were either gone or awake.  These folks specialize in bathrooms, and it was clear that they knew what they were doing.  I would hire them again.

As part of a bathroom remodel, we decided to save a little money by keeping our old (40+ year) wainscot tile and have it cleaned/regrouted (rather than demo and re-tile).  I had wondered if this process would make that much of a difference, but the tile seriously looks brand-new. I hadn't realized how dull the white tile had gotten, and how bad the dried up grout made everything else look.
Working with this company was the best part of the whole remodeling process: they were responsive, provided good followup and did exactly what they said they would (when they said they would). It was a full day of hand work, plus an hour to follow up.

While we weren't so sure about the first couple of guys sent out to do the work, we were able to get the job completed by a more experienced member of the team, Beau, and he did a great job.  He was very detail-oriented, professional and conscientious.  He did an especially great job with a difficult area where we needed to place tile over the end glass block surround for the shower door.  It was uneven and difficult to deal, with but he did an amazing job.  We have also had tile areas steam cleaned by this company in the past and they did a great job.

The owner came promptly to give us a quote.  He was professional and personable. His employees later commented to us that he was very ethical.
The guys that came to do the job were friendly, courteous and professional.  They made three visits, one to clean, one to take out old grout and another to finish the job.
It seems to have turned out well.
Another tile professional said we needed much more extensive work, that we would need to take up the whole floor, put in a pan below the tile (the contractor says there was a pan - may not be using the right technical terms) and rip out lower part of shower wall.
Twin Cities Tile and Grout worked to repair the grout.  The cleaning and sealing was needed.  The old sealant was moldy and peeling away.
I will call them back again and sooner, before the sealant gets to be in bad shape

They did a fantastic job.  The 2 guys who came knew exactly what they were doing, explained what they would be doing and left my shower looking brand new.  They were punctual, respectful and totally cleaned up when they left.

Contractor was excellent.  Provided on site quote and scheduled times for workers.  Their people were professional, polite and prompt.  Did not require payment until after job was complete and approved.  Job took one full day and two half days.

We had thought we might have to replace some of the tile, but it looked so good after they cleaned it, that we don't have to do a thing! They were very honest about what they could do and what didn't need to be done. The results were even better than we hoped.

Did a fine job on main areas, but left a 1-11/2 margin of dirt around some of the edges. Also marred some of the baseboards. Did not do any competitive bidding so I can't comment on the price.

Day one they listened to my needs. I agreed all 3 walls in shower area needed to be rebuilt. So they had the area down to the studs on the first day. Day 2 They had put up new walls and it was beautifully done job Day 3 Taped walls  (James was awesome doing the taping) and prepared to put up tile. Day 4 and 5 put up all tile. LOOKS GREAT. Day 6(half a day) Grout applied Day 7 (half a day) caulked and done. This company is the best. And what makes it the best are they have very barite and  talented employee's. I will tell all of my friends to give them a call when they need work done in this area.

They were up front with what was going on with my shower area. And it looks like I will need a wall rebuilt in shower area. Unfortunately I will have to look for a cheaper fix. But like I said I would hire them in a heart beat.
