Tonka Management

I can't say enough good things about Tonka Management. I had a previous builder who had started my project but didn't complete it, leaving me with a partially (and incompetently) framed lower level and significant delay to the project. John & Mike at Tonka Management were referred to me by a friend and completely came to the rescue. They made time to look at it right away, gave me a very fair bid for the work, and provided counsel about how to best move forward, including references to other vendors and advice on managing the project. They also did the actual framing fixes and finished the framing on short notice, completing it well ahead of anyone else I would have been able to use and allowing me to move forward with the project. Their work was absolutely top notch, to perfection, and they always checked on things and took the time needed to ensure everything was being completed the way I wanted, especially in some areas that were somewhat tricky to frame. Mike also had some excellent design suggestions that I hadn't considered that will result in a nicer finish. They were great at communication, reliable, on time, and kept everything picked up, etc. I would highly recommend them for any construction projects... they're extremely competent and trustworthy, and cover most any aspect of building needs.

Our insurance provider wrote off our old aluminum siding and roofing after hail storms last year. We paid for upgrades to both the shingles and upgraded to LP SmartSide siding all the way around the house (we had rotten cedar siding on the garage and some accent areas on the house). Rich was very reasonable and his teams were fast. We love the look of our house and have enjoyed it more since the upgrades. Our neighbor's have told us that when they need to do the same thing that they want to use who we used.
