Michael arrived at 8am; he was very enthusiastic about the project. I have been using the basement as a giant junk room for years, and was overwhelmed with the stuff I needed to go through. He set up different boxes for different purposes: questionable, garbage, goodwill. We worked for 4 hours and I was truly amazed on how much stuff we went through. Sometimes I hesitated about keeping it "just in case" (which is why I had so much stuff!) and Michael helped me realize that I haven't used it, I don't need it, and it can go to someone who could (goodwill/charitable organizations). I had a great feeling of accomplishment by the time he left.
