Highly recommended! Would use again! We had used Lockguard previously to install a new doorknob with a sturdy deadbolt lock on one of our doors. The lock they installed was very high quality and the price was more than fair. This time my kids accidentally locked us out, and I didn't have a spare key. I called Chuck at Lockguard and he was able to come out right away. Very professional and was able to get the door opened for us, and cleaned up the damage my kids had done when they tried to open the lock with a screwdriver. Huge relief and so appreciate his fast response!

I dialed the number provided by Angie's List. The person who answered said his father handles all the residential work and gave me his father's phone number. I called the father, who said it might be a two-person job and asked if I'd send some pictures for him to assess. I sent three pictures of the area he requested to see. He responded that it was "hard to tell" and that he thought Central Lock could help. He apparently wasn't interested in the project, and I wish he'd told me that at the outset.

Work was performed on time and at the price agreed upon.

I moved into an unfamiliar new city in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro, and used Lockguard to re-key all of my doors (recommended by my property manager at a prior home, where I had used them before to fix a sticky lock). Excellent service, very professional. I was also impressed that Chuck took the time to walk through my new home to discuss safety issues and suggestions on how to bolster my general security. A few days after he had been through to re-key my doors, I caught a segment on the local news that was discussing these very same safety issues and recommending the reinforced dead bolts, etc that Chuck had just brought up. About 2 weeks later, Chuck came back to my home to install the reinforcements to both of my doors, upgrade my garage/mud room door to a deadbolt with reinforcement and install a shield to my garage door opener to prevent someone from tinkering with the mechanism from the outside. I now have extra peace of mind. Thrilled with the decision to install the safety measures. Would highly recommend without any reservation.

We have used Lockguard services several times in the past. Today, the lock on our lower level patio door was not able to be unlocked so we couldn't use the door. We called Lockguard and they came right over and repaired the lock. Nice people & amazing service!

I called at 7:45 in the morning and Chuck was at my house by 8:00. He tried picking the lock a few times, failed and so drilled it out, then put in a new cylinder into the lock that was re-keyed to match my current key. Here and gone in under a half hour, very professional and friendly. I couldn't be more pleased.

We just moved into our new house, so wanted to re-keyed all locks (house and garage) and we added deadbolts to the 2 doors that did not already have one. Chuck was very knowledgeable and showed me places I where I could increase the strength on my doors. He never pressured me to buy anything I didn't want to. Not only did he replace my locks, but he got them all working more smoothly than any doors I've ever had. It wasn't cheap, but he did good work and I was very happy with the result. He had several options for my many door types, so if one didn't work or didn't look nice - he had a few more that he had custom made.

The individual that came to the house was very professional and knowledgeable about locks. He added a deadbolt to a door and did a really nice job. He also re-keyed 2 existing deadbolts. The individual was punctual and completed all of the work in a timely manner. I was very happy with the work performed.

Lockguard gave me extensive detail on my options for my new deadbolts and door knobs. They had different examples on their truck to show me the finishes and options. I appreciated how informative they were. They did not hurry me with my decisions. I would use them again and would recommend them.

After being told by our locksmith of 12 years that our commercial combination lock and the heavy metal door is was installed in needed to be replaced, we contacted Lock Guard for a second opinion. Ben called right back, came right out and found that a major component (combo box) was not functioning and needed to be replaced. He made the repairs and all is working great. Extremely prompt, professional, helpful and informative. They not only fixed the lock (and helped with a binding problem) but they also showed me how to fix it myself, should it happen again. They were very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I would highly recommend Ben from Lockguard and will be using him for any and all door security issues in the future . We have had three break ins in the last year and have dealt with three locksmiths. Ben was by FAR the best we dealt with. Ben is much more then someone who can change a lock, he cares about how the finished result looks.

Ben did a great job removing our ancient lock that we had no keys for and replacing it with a new one. We appreciate the extra effort!

From start to finish this was a smooth process. I corresponded with Ben via email and phone and he was able to have Chuck come out within one day of my request. Chuck was punctual, professional, friendly, and helpful. We wanted out locks re-keyed and in a few instances we upgraded our locks per Chucks recommendations. His recommendations were insightful and appreciated and not pressured or "salesy". Chuck also gave us some general safety advice that was much appreciated. Very nice father-son business. Would definitely use them again in the future.
