Went fine overall.  Our agent was quite experienced and knew a lot of other agents- able to get the story on the houses that we were interested in.  The company had a competent person to do the closing.  That person was able to answer all of our questions in detail and her answers were accurate.   Our real estate agent did her research, but much of what she told us was available on line.  We were new home buyers so in retrospect, we felt that she could have done a better job in understanding the details of home maintanence and the basics regarding all the equipment in the house.  For example, both she and the home inspector that the company recommended failed to detect that there was a separate water heater in the house for one of the bathrooms, as well as a separate electrical panel.  As a result, when that electric panel failed, we found that it was not covered under our home warranty.  She did not give any simple advice about the age of the water heater, furnace, roof etc that may have allowed us to better determine the value of the house.   However, in terms of being able to show us all houses that we were interested in and providing this service in a timely fashion, she was excellent.

They are very good to work with. I really don't have any complaints. They were very professional.

Shelby does a phenomenal job in finding homes. She listens to exactly what you are looking for including price range, area, and features. She does not try and pursuade you into anything, rather she is focused on what it is that will make you happy. Shelby is also very well-versed in all of the legislation changes including the first-time homebuyer credit and the existing homebuyer credit. She knew all of the details and was able to inform us if we were eligible or not. Overall, Shelby is an excellent real estate agent and I recommend her to everybody I know.
