It's lousy. We changed because of the price. We would not recommend them. We're stuck with them. We have a contract. We probably wouldn't use them again if we didn't have a contract.

Their customer service is pretty bad. Their prices are high. I think they're bad too. I'll be moving soon so I'll probably be looking for somebody else.

I don't like that you can't do a la carte, you have to get a bundle and channels that you don't watch. I don't like Comcast, but they have kind of a monopoly. The price is probably higher than it should be. They don't talk to each other. We had an experience where we called their customer service, and they told us that we needed a new cable box to upgrade to a different level of cable channels, and we went to the store, and they said we don't need that. One person told us that we need to pay $15 to get the new cable box, and then they said that we don't need that. They don't talk to each other. Some of their customer service is overseas.

The service itself is good but I've had two recent phone calls telling me that I had to upgrade to a modem and that it would be free. I copied the chart that they had online and they wanted me to to upgrade so I'd be paying 90 dollars a month and I said that wasn't necessary and that I needed to know about the free modem and suddenly there was going to be an 8 dollar a month rental fee on it! I feel like it was really a bait and switch.

I have to call regularly because they randomly raise their prices.  Have to explain to customer service that I don't want to pay that much and then they will give me another special discount but it always takes about 1/2 hour once a year to get it back to what I was paying.

It seems like their price continuously goes up every few months and so I always have to call them for that but service wise, it is okay. There never have been disruptions or anything like that. It just seems that the cost is an issue but the current price that I pay for right now is a pretty good deal. The last time that I was in contact with them was maybe about a year ago. I would grade their price as a 'B' provided that it stays the same but it does not stay. I will continue using their service in the future unless there is a better option.

For the last four months I am trying to get rid of them.  For number of years I had them and I used their email service.  To get rid of them I have to set everything up with somebody else for email and then I have to get all my correspondence notified that I am switching my email address and then I have to assure that they actually received my email and accepted the new one.  I use the Microsoft Outlook calendar and I would like to get off of that and I have to learn calendaring system with my new email provider and get it set up and transfer all my email contact to new address book and set up and so on.  It has been a while so my next thing will be shopping for email provider.  I have an email provider and so that will arrange a switch on.  I need to shop for internet provider and TV provider.  The reason we want to switch TV because until now we used the basic cable capability which isn’t too expensive and it gives me anything other than over the air TV basically.   I am thinking now since my wife is retired and we are living a life of variety and we want to setup a life of variety, we want a little more in terms of channels and so forth.  Comcast is expensive when you do that.  We are shopping for other providers and we are finding a better deal on the TV and we want to shop files capability for the cable.  I had the other provider in our neighborhood and they had a lady night in the night and it was below 0 temperatures and she was going house to house selling new fiber optic service.  I might probably leave Comcast.  With Comcast for cables there are no good channels or packages to choose from.  I have the very basic lowest cost service and which gives us the local over the air TV station and all the community service broadcast which hardly is ever interesting and for everything else it says you haven’t paid for this.

About as expected. Used the online chat which was very, very, very slow. At one point I asked if this was going to take all night. Basically, they couldn't help me and just advised they would send a new remote. I appreciate the ability to utilize the online chat feature, but would appreciate it even more if I could actually get a problem solved. Hasn't happened yet. I've had Comcast for seven months now, and this is the third time I've had to call about a problem. Would not use Comcast again, unless I'm in the same situation as now, no one else to choose from. Internet is incredibly slow. Cable is way behind in technology. Phone, they must sell the phone numbers to every telemarketer going. In 7 months I've had more telemarketing calls than I've had in over 30 years of owning a phone number.

For the most part I don't have any problems with them. Sometimes the cable will clunk out but they give you warning for that.

The switch from Analog to Digital service has been a complete disaster. I have spent the entire day dealing with technicians, as only one TV worked after installing their equipment. Finally I was told that I would have to disassemble all of the equipment (which took a couple of hours to install) and return it to them, or pay to have a technician come to the house and fix their equipment. It is their equipment that is faulty and yet I am expected to pay to have this fixed. What a wonderful world Comcast lives in. I am now looking into Direct TV.
