Auntie Ruth's is now known as Fusion in its new location on Minnetonka Industrial Road. Our dog loves coming to Fusion and is extremely excited each morning that he comes for daycare. The staff here is great and takes wonderful care of all the dogs, cats, and other animals visiting. They do a wonderful job of keeping the dogs active, while balancing to take the time to make sure all the play areas are clean for the dogs. I highly recommend Fusion for anyone looking for daycare or boarding around the Minnetonka area.

Aunt Ruth's sent us a guaranteed reservation in mid-August for 11/21/-28/215 (Thanksgiving week). Despite several attempts through a wide variety of media (phone, email, voicemail and Facebook). The provider closed and offered NO details as to re-opening dates and no reply. We have been forced to find a new boarding facility for Thanksgiving week-many are now booked. This is sad to us, Auntie Ruths has been our proved for MANY years, we understand being forced out of a lease however it is unthinkable to not communicate with your longstanding customers and customers with standing reservations on if you will be open or not. The kennel's in the area are aware of this and ALL are requiring full down payment due to the threat of Ruth's re-opening and taking reservations with them leaving them standing.

We have been bringing our dog to Auntie Ruth's for daycare and boarding since moving to the area last July. The staff are very friendly and get to know the pets that are there by name. Our dog always has received lots of play time and interaction when visiting for daycare. We have also boarded him here a few times when we have gone out of town, and he has been very comfortable, with things being no different than his normal routines.
While the building itself may not be the most modern, It always is well cleaned and smells nice. I've toured some of the other boarding/daycare companies in the area, and it is evident at these other facilities that they don't clean regularly given the smells of urine and other things.
One reviewer commented that it appeared to be chaotic during daycare pickup. I'd argue any facility is going to be hectic during a prime time to pickup pets from daycare. Any facility I've been to is a little nuts during the prime pickup times after work.
Overall, this is a great place to bring your pet for daycare and boarding, with friendly local staff who take care of their visitors.

I've used Auntie Ruth's for years. They are so friendly, thoughtful, caring and kind! I am always welcomed warmly, and they know my cats by name, temperament, likes and dislikes. The facilities are always spotless and the kitty-condos are generously sized, with a sleeping/eating space and a separate litter box space. They have toys, blankets, etc that are always freshly cleaned. Cats are let out of their condos individually for playtime in the main cat room that has a huge climbing tower, toys and a wall aquarium with fish to watch. I've never been disappointed at Auntie Ruth's!

They did a great job. Our cat Misty was coming out of an illness and trauma. They contacted our vet when she did not respond to food and elimination. They were very caring and provided extra blankets for her to make her more comfortable. Good news is she is back to her old-self now.

Mostly seem kind and caring. Good for puppies as they don't allow all day play (too much for pups) and they can accommodate lunches as well as two other meals per day. My pup enjoys going there. I wish they had webcam.

This stay went great. Do make sure your vet records are updated on the front end, as with any boarding facility. Ok-most important, the staff is attentive, friendly, caring and really seem to get to know your pet which is very important. Many of the staff have worked here for many years-to me this is a very important sign of a strong business. M dogs are always happy to arrive and know the drop off drill. My dogs looked great and were very happy when I picked them up and that is the most important thing to me. It was a busy Saturday at opening when we picked the dogs up-the staff was attentive and happy to help us. Since the new owners have taken over they have spruced the place up-fresh paint, etc...I am happy to see that. Do make sure you understand the new required paperwork on the front end...with the new ownership there are some new forms and policies that I need to continue to look at to further understand. These include a bank or pool of money that you can contribute to-in case there is an incident with your pet during the stay-it looks and sounds like insurance but it is not insurance, I still don't understand this. Also, if your pet injures another during the stay you are 100% on the hook financially-this was new to me, I am sure it has always been this way-I was just not aware of it, it did concern me. Finally there is a new form you sign with a dollar spend limit in case something happens to our pet. I absolutely look forward to continue using Aunt Ruth's and recommend their business 110%. I anticipate beginning Doggie-daycare as well, the people I know that use hem for this are extremely happy. Thanks for keeping up the great work.

From the time our dog arrives he is greated and shown how much they love having him there. He is treated as special and given time to adjust to the place in the morning. By the time I pick him up in the afternoon he has become "best friends" with the caretaker and follows him around. This is a great place that takes good care of your dog.

My usual groomer was unavailable. I called Autie Ruth's Friday mid morning and was able to get her groomed the same afternoon. I was told they do not shave the dogs but will scissor cut if needed. Cuddles looks and smells so much better after one hour in the salon. The staff were pleasant and helpful. They appeared truly interested in the dogs and it was easy to tell that Auntie Ruth's is staffed by animal lovers. Cuddles is an elderly dog and grooming can be stressful for her so I wanted to find a place that was friendly and caring. I will not hesitate to bring her in again for a transformation from a dirty to a clean dog.

Everything went really well. Every person that works there is in tune with dogs. They walk your dogs whether you pay extra or not and play with them constantly. They are very personable and involved. I also liked how they were a small company.

Taking our dog to Auntie Ruth's is a completely enjoyable experience. When he drop him off he's kind of nervous and giddy and when we pick him up he's ready for a nap.

It was a terrible experience for our dog. He was deaf and could see out of one eye and confused easily. They assured us they were accustomed to dealing with older dogs and he would be well cared for. When my friend picked him up he was full of feces and shaking he was so scared. They could have called and asked permission to give him a bath instead of sending him home a mess. I will never use them again.

Our experience was amazing from the moment we walked in to Auntie Ruth's. The first time we boarded our dog here, I knew that we would not take her any place else. The staff were warm and welcoming and gave Zoe lots of love. She easily transitioned to Auntie Ruth's and back home. The staff at Auntie Ruth's are just amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect during our first stay, but the staff were informative and made us feel right at home.

We've boarded Max, our 2 year-old black lab, several times at Auntie Ruth's, and we simply can't give enough positive feedback--the staff is absolutely wonderful...kind, loving, and treat him as if he's their own. The care and attention they provide to pets is simply beyond compare. Max looks forward to his time at Auntie Ruth's so much, we actually have to spell it out or he'll get too excited! Without question, your pet will be safe and VERY well cared-for in your absence.

Last year we got a puppy and with a few longer days at work we decided to take her to Ruth's for day care. We started off doing it just once in a while but now our dog is a regular, twice a week. The staff is tremendous and they really care about each and every one of the dogs they look after. When we go out of town now we never worry. We know that she's in the best hands.

I paid $35 a night per dog. It is a small company and I thought they did a great job. They are really friendly, knew the dogs when I called to check on them, and I would definitely go back.

The staff at Auntie Ruth's is incredible. Each time I dropped my dog off caring staff members were there to greet her (and me) and take her back to play with the other dogs. All of the staff seemed to love dogs and treated my dog like she was the cutest and most important dog in the world. They were also very flexible and willing to work with me to accommodate my needs. For instance, although they prefer you make reservations for day care, I took my dog over there without making a reservation and they had no problem and were very accommodating. They also are very personal; after my second visit, they all knew my name and my dog's name. There is also a friendly, neighborhood feel to the whole place, and it is spotless! I would highly recommend Auntie Ruth's to anyone looking for pet care.
