My advice is do not waste your time on this one.

Have used Adam (aka AMP Services) in the past. He does decent work at a very reasonable price, though you have to stay on top of him. This time he was going to perform fall leaf clean up and removal for me, however when the day he was supposed to come came, he didn't. I called him several times and e-mailed him as well. Both got no responses. It is a shame, but I'll be using another vendor for future yard work. I ended up doing all the work myself because it was too late to find someone else to do it. I need someone I can rely on.

I decided to remove a large section of weeds and buckthorn myself. After doing a brush clearing of the area myself, I quickly discovered I was in over my head with the removal of the roots in order to get good grass-planting conditions. I had a few landscapers come over to give me an estimate for the work I needed performed; Adam's price was very reasonable for the ammount of labor involved. I did what I could to help him keep the cost down (let him use my trailer so I could dispose of the root mass myself to save him time and disposal costs). Adam came in on a Wednesday afternoon to begin the clearing work and remove material around the tree stumps to be removed. He worked for a few hours before leaving for the day. He came back the next day (Thursday) to complete the excavating work. On Friday afternoon he finished up by grading in the fresh dirt. He left me with a very nice, plantable yard in which to plant grass (he did give me a very good price for sod, but even a good price at 5000 sf is expensive, so I decided to roll the dice with some quality grass seed). I would deffinitely use him again and have asked him for quotes for his fertilizing services and fall clean up.
