Vineland Tree Care

I had Vineland Tree Service come and remove a low-hanging tree limb over my house. I contacted the group before leaving for work, and they were able to have the work done before I got home from work that day. The pricing was reasonable given the equipment they had to bring.

Jim and Seamus came out to give me an estimate. I told them what I wanted done and gave me an estimate right on the spot. They are easy to work with and I am very happy with the work I had done. I had many large shrubs removed along a fenceline as well as several small trees. I will use them again in the future.

I left a voice message for Jim after an enormous tree fell on our property. He called me Monday morning and had already driven by the area, so he gave me the $1100 estimate. My nephew and sons-in-law were busy with chain saws attempting to remove some of the smaller limbs. As I observed their progress, I called Jim and he said that the tree would be removed by Thursday. We quit working and left it to the pros! Later that day I received a call stating that another job had been wrapped up early and someone would be able to come to the property Monday afternoon! Seamus arrived, cut the tree into manageable pieces, piled it on the truck and took it to the disposal area. I don't know how many trips he had to make - but when he was finished, the yard and parking area were clean and completely clear of all tree branches. This company is great! I had hoped for a little lower price (since my helpers had done a little work!). The truth is that I had no idea how much tree removal cost! Overall I am very satisfied with the work performed by Vineland.

The company did a fabulous job. I had the work done in November of '07 but waited until this spring to make sure they had gotten all dead Oak limbs. The Oak trimming was done over a professionally landscaped garden. The lowered all limbs by rope, were very careful; not a single shrub was damaged. They were 30% less then some of the other tree companies I received estimates from. They cleaned up all debris, worked quickly. Fantastic job!

I called for an estimate and Seamus Walsh came the next day. Just took a few minutes and he was decent to deal with. Seamus scheduled the job for 13 days out which was fine by me. But he said they might get over earlier if they were scheduled nearby. That is what happened as they came three days later. Took down the tree and cleaned up everything. Did not leave any branches around. Was definitely worth hiring this out. Vineland was professional, and I thought the price reasonable. Would hire again.

Fantastic project! They were out to give an estimate within 90 minutes of calling. We hoped to just do some maintenance on our maple tree in the backyard, but the damage & decay was far worse. They did the estimate on a Thursday, returned on Tuesday to cut down the tree and do the other prunings and ground out the stump on Wednesday! They were very conscientious and took great care of the fence, power & phone lines - and of their crew. We asked to keep some wood for bonfires and they were nice about the request. We're still sad about the tree but it was clear it was unhealthy and a hazard. The other maple looks great! We'll have them back later this summer for other projects. Our backyard is a little chewed-up because the ground was so soft and the the grinder had little tractor tires, but we had planned to do some landscaping this summer, anyways. I'd rather deal with dirt than fixing a broken fence, downed power lines or damage to our house or our neighbor's.

They were great! Will came out quickly to give us an estimate and returned the next day to do the work. Not only was the trimming well done, they did a great job of cleaning up the site when they were done including using the blower to clean up the sidewalks/entryway. Very pleased with the service!

We were very satisfied with their work. They were prompt and tidy. Many friends have commented on how nice our trees look, especially our apple trees! We had some other bids, and theirs was very reasonable.

They are really great. If you don't hire them, you are a fool. They are so reliable and good.

They were very responsive in getting the estimate to me and they were priced very competitively. I chose to use a company that I had used before.

We were pleased with the service we received. Jim was very knowledgeable about trees and was able to give us expert advice about trimming, removal and fertilization needs.

The city said we had to remove four trees. The fifth tree was already dead, so it was our choice as to whether or not we removed it. We got several estimates. This one was so reasonable we decided to do all five trees. Our timing was bad timing. Most companies were involved in clean-up work after the big storms in August. Not only was this company the most reasonable, they were able to schedule the work. I was out of town and returned in the evening. I couldn't see if the trees had been removed as promised. The next day I went out and all 5 trees were gone. The ground was undisturbed and the driveway and lawn looked like no one had been there.

Jim Walsh was able to provide us with an estimate without our being home. Once we agreed to go ahead with the work, the pruning was done within a day or two. They did great work and cleaned up after themselves.

Jim Walsh was very helpful in providing the estimate for the service. We did not ask to have the work done until quite a few weeks later, but there was no problem having them come to do the work. The crew came on the appointed day and took care of the tree removal very expertly and efficiently. The young man in charge of the crew really seemed to know what he was doing, and there were no problems, even though we had been concerned about one trunk of the birch that leaned precariously toward our garage. The stump grinder came the next day, and also did a very thorough and complete job. I would certainly recommend this company and would have them come out to do any other tree work we need done.

The experience was great, especially in light of the circumstances. A storm knocked down a huge oak tree in our yard (which fell on our neighbors home), knocked a large pine tree against the front of our house, and tore several huge branches off large oaks near our house. The branches were embedded in and through our garage, on top of our roof, in our yard, and everywhere else you can imagine. I called Jim the morning after the storm and he was there within an hour to give me an estimate. He pushed hard and had all the trees and branches removed within 24 hours (and this was no simple job!). He also coordinated with our neighbor to remove the tree from his house, which greatly simplified things in terms of insurance. He was very knowledgeable about trees and advised me which trees he thought might survive their injuries. His crew was very professional and also had insights on how to best care for the trees if I wanted them to survive.

We recently moved into a house that had lots of overgrown/damaged trees. Jim came out and gave us an estimate to remove the two diseased trees first and do the trim work later. He was extremely helpful and patient and answered all of our questions. His crew was awesome, even when they ran into several nest of raccoon babies. The entire process was painless. The Vineland group will be my tree service for life.

Great job on the work. Jim Walsh made good suggestions on what to trim and what to remove completely, without pressing for the more expensive options. There was some confusion or miscommunication about the scope of work to be done, but the guys on the work crew were very nice and managed to get it all done in one day, so that took care of it.

Very pleased with the work as it was completed on time, done very neatly, done at the estimate price, and there was no damage to any of the surroundings. Would highly recommend.

Knowing I wanted my tree trimmed as soon as possible, Vineland called me one morning to let me know they had a last-minute opening and they could come that day. When I came home from work, the job was done just as we had discussed and everything looked great.

Contacted company and Jim Walsh came out promptly & provided a detailed estimate with site drawing of the work that was to be performed. He took sufficient time to analyze & explain what had to be done. He also gave us a copy of his insurance certificate. We decided to employ his company to remove the trees. Jim notified us the day before arriving & the crew arrived promptly the next day. His son, Seamus, and his crew were very efficient in cutting and removal of all the trees. They were very careful not to damage adjoining trees or the house. They raked and swept the yard, driveway, and walk leaving no debris behind.

I contacted Mr. Walsch via email and received a response within one hour, he then followed up with a phone call on the same day. Within 24 hours we had an estimate. Mr. Walsch has very good advise and suggestions for us. We were in agreement with the recommendations he made. We scheduled an appointment and the Vineland team arrived right on time. They were very courteous, professional, very safely conscience. The trees were removed effectively, the area was cleaned thoroughly. If you need any Tree work done, you have to go with this company. They surpassed all our expectations. The crew was polite and efficient. They worked so hard, it was absolutely amazing. I recommend Vineland to everyone. They impressed me by far!

Great! Jim and his crew were here exactly when they said they would be. They even moved the patio furniture and the birdbath just to make sure nothing was damaged. The trees were trimmed and everything was cleaned up when they left (they left my patio looking better than it did before they got here). Also, I was glad that Jim was here working with his crew since he was the one that did the estimate.

Excellent. I called and he looked at the the trees and I got an estimate the next day. I mulled over the choices and called back two weeks later. Jim remembered the job and I was able to get a hold of him in the field and finalized the plan. He was out the next day and completed the work

Jim came out to my home on a very cold sub-zero day along with another young man who seemed very knowledgeable about trees. I stepped outside with Jim and he made suggestions regarding what he thought was needed to preserve the trees in my yard. After providing me with a written estimate, Jim told me that he would call within the next week for an exact date for the work. The work was done on 2/12/07. I was not at home and was unable to inspect what was done until several days later. I was pleased with the work performed, and the cleanup.
