Viking Chem Dry

I had assumed most companies cleaned carpet essentially in the same way with differences in the cleaner. The company did a good job of reducing the odor, but not completely eliminating it. The method of cleaning the carpet however was spritzing the carpet with a mystery nontoxic product (that is apparently safe enough to drink,) then using a rotating floor (sanding?) machine with the equivalent of a large washcloth on it to buff out the stains. Personally, I thought it just ground in most of the dirt while cleaning the surface. The carpets were cleaner than they had been. The berber carpet section of the house looked cleaner but I had hoped cleaning it would revive its flattened appearance. The owner/operator tauted the benefits of not shooting water into the carpets like steam cleaners do, but in the end I kept thinking I would have preferred some steamy hot water and suctioning especially revive the berber carpeting. Also, I didn't get to go in to look at the carpet until after it was dry and the guy was gone. He left giving me the impression that the stains were all gone, but many remained, to a lesser degree for sure, but I would have asked him to go over those areas a little more. Nice guy. Seemed like a conscientious business owner, for sure... just didn't like this particular method of cleaning. It was like scrubbing a stinky,stained shirt with a Shout wipe rather than throwing it in the machine washing.

Great service, and wonderful cleaning. This process leaves your carpet looking new. I would recommend this company to everyone. The gentleman who did the cleaning was very conscientious and did a terrific job on high traffic areas.
