Our electricians can help come up with creative solutions to your electrical and lighting needs. We can help design your lighting project, or get power to where you need it. From commercial tenant finish work to residential remodeling, no job is too small. We accept credit cards on smaller jobs, invoice on bigger jobs, and will provide a free estimate before the work begins.

Scott was professional, efficient, cost conscious and did a fantastic job. He gave an accurate and honest quote and stuck to it. He arrived early and finished the job faster than expected. He was kind, respectful and went above and beyond the bare minimum for our job. I would hire him again and will for any electrical work in the twin cities moving forward.

Everything was done efficiently, thoroughly, and with Scott doing a great job of explaining why various work needed to be done (including what was necessary and what was optional) and how he was going to accomplish the work. He has fine communication skills, in addition to electrician's skills. His pricing was also well explained and seems very fair.

Scott was very creative in solving all of the various issues with wiring my basement for remodeling. I thought it was going to be a simple job but work by previous electricians created lots of weird problems and Scott solved all of the issues and made it much nicer and safer. I’d definitely hire him again.

Excellent. Scott set a date and time to do the work. He was running a few minutes (20 minutes) behind and did an excellent job of keeping me informed on the delay. The work was performed and looks excellent. Scott cleans up after all work is completed. He acquired the necessary permits and arranged the appointment with the inspector to ensure all work was completed correctly. What I really appreciate about Scott is his professionalism and knowledge. I let him know the range was discontinued and I had to order a different range. He immediately asked if the electrical requirements were the same. I said I assumed so since it is the same brand but sent him the installation sheets to review. The requirements are not the same. Scott will be setting up an appointment with me to upgrade the electrical. I really appreciate him thinking to ask about the requirements as it was not something I thought about.

Scott was very professional and communicated well. He was running a few minutes late due to a scheduling mix-up. He called me before the appointment to let me know he would be a few minutes late. I really appreciated him letting me know. The work was completed and he cleaned up the area. He took care of getting required permits. He also followed up a couple weeks later to ensure the inspector had contacted us. I will definitely hire Verdant Electric for all future work.

Scott did a great job! First of all, he was very responsive and we exchanged several ideas prior to the project to be most cost effective. As of the installation, it was very well done, very clean and professional. I had it inspected by the city. Actually, Scott pulled the permit and scheduled the inspection for me, so I had no much to do. I showed to Scott two wires in my circuit breaker box that had heated. He trimmed them and ensure the connections were tied. This had nothing to do with the job. He charged me material and labor, no hidden costs. Could not have been better.

Hardworking. Responsive. Personable. We upgraded from 100 amp service to 200. Plus we replaced the breaker box - - going from two to one. It's a job that requires timing: Xcel needed to turn off power and drop the line; the inspector needs to inspect. We had a grounding issue that threw a curve in the project. Scott handled all of it. He put in a long 12 hour day. And the final bill came in well below the projected price. (With the 12 hour day I was expecting higher.) I like dealing with owners who do the work. He's that. Shake his hand and you'll know. My final compliment: I would hire him again.

Scott did an excellent job from start to finish. I left a message and he called right back. I told him the work I wanted done and she stated it would be time and material and he would find the price of the detectors I need 3 of one kind and 6 of another. He called back with price of the material and we setup an appoint for about a week out. Scott was on time and he was clean, careful and very respectful with all the work he did. When finished the price which was less than estimate. I will hire Scott again.

Scott did an incredible job with our basement! I am not an electrical expert by any means. In fact, I know close to nothing. That being said, Scott was very patient with me and did a very nice job explaining exactly what needed to be done. He showed up on time, answered all my phone calls, and moved around his schedule to accommodate a really busy basement remodeling schedule. Not to mention, Scott worked really well with some of the other folks (handymen, construction workers, plumbing, etc) working on the project and I was very comfortable having him coordinate with them directly. I am very happy with Scott's work and would recommend him highly.

Scott was efficient, reliable and cleaned up after himself. He encountered a few errors from the previous contractor and fixed them all. He was honest, punctual and easy to work with. The Inspector remarked that it was great work. Everything passed. He was also patient with our environment being a little crowded here and there. He described everything so that I could understand it. Outstanding electrician. Friendly and easy to talk to. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

"Sorry again for damage to the back side of the peninsula. When mistakes happen, I learn from them, and don't do them again. Sorry It had to be your house. By the way, I still have that new breaker in my truck to install. I was waiting for a response to when you were available for me to stop in, But I never heard back. We tried to schedule something but the timing was not good for either of us. Last I heard you were going to talk to your wife about when she was available to let me in, but I never heard back. It will not take long, just 30 minutes. Call if you can to get the job completed and re-inspected. Thanks, Scott"

Scott had to remove old jerry-rigged wiring and find new wiring pathways through closed walls. The problem unfolded only after he'd started the work. The job become much more complicated and took much longer than he'd anticipate, but he kept his cool and got creative.
