Vent Guys

Vent guys were incredibly pleasant to deal with. Service was available next day. He went the extra mile when it was discovered that some of the piping needed replacing; he undertook some tricky work to get the replacement pipe in place, and did an excellent job. Pricing was quite fair!

We have an extra long dryer vent. Dan has the right equipment to blow out the lint without disconnecting the vent from inside the house. He did an outstanding job with great care.

I had the dryer vent cleaned 7 months ago by another company. It was clogged again. It is a rooftop vent. The other company only used an air hose to blow out lint from the roof. Dan cleaned the vent from the dryer up through the roof vent. There was a screen in the vent that should not have been left in there when installed, and Dan removed it. He did a thorough cleaning and put everything back in place. It is a small laundry area, so he had to move the washer to pull the dryer out. He did a great job.

We hadn't had our dryer vent cleaned in awhile so we checked Angie's list and called the Vent Guys. Talked to Dan and set up an appointment. He gave us a two hour window when he would arrive on the day of the appointment. Dan showed up half way into the window so was right on time. He proceeded to inspect the dryer and then cleaned the vent which produced more lint than we had anticipated. Dan gave us some tips on cleaning the lint filter and suggestions regarding dryer sheets. We asked about cleaning the furnace air ducts so he checked the furnace and gave us a quote. He looked at the furnace filter and gave some advice as to what type of filter to use in the future. Dan was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and did an all around good job. We would definitely use him again for any needed duct cleaning.

I called Dan about 11:30 am on 6/27. He said he had an opening on 7/3. I told him that I was hoping he could come sooner because I had been without a dryer for a few days and had already had one company cancel my appointment and one company not show up. Dan told me he was 90% sure he could squeeze me in that afternoon and would call me either way within an hour or two. He kept his word and called and was, thankfully, able to come out later that afternoon. He diagnosed the issues, cleaned the vent, and repaired a piece of the vent and was very professional and helpful. I would recommend Dan to anyone. Thanks again!

After attempting to clean dryer vents on own multiple times without much success I called Dan out to try and improve our drying times. With 2 kids at home, it seems we are always doing laundry. Dan cleaned the actual vent and suggested changing out the transition duct to hard pipe to improve the air flow. We started at 700 cfm airflow and by the time he was done it was up to 1250. The recommendation is 1200+.

Vent Guys did an awesome job. Our dryer vent is safely cleared out, and much more safely exiting our home. I really felt like they had quality and safety in mind and they were in no way trying to up-sell me on any other services. They were able to make some adjustments to improve the overall functionality and safety of the vent, and walked me through everything with a camera view. I highly recommend them for dryer vent cleaning!

The process went well. Dan was punctual and willing to accommodate a last-minute change to the schedule. The price was fair, particularly given the amount of lint in the vent. I will be scheduling service again with Vent Guys.

The owner showed up right away and assessed out problem. The dryer vents had never been cleaned in 19 years. We were in a dangerous situation and a fire could have easily started. He came the next day and did all the work from the roof. There was no disruption to any of the owners and copious amounts of dryer lint was removed. We dodges a bullet! I would highly recommend these professionals where you have a single family home or a large condo/apartment building. It's worth it!

Dan showed up on time. He had the right equipment for the job. This was a very long dryer vent that was really clogged. He filled the shop vac to capacity twice with lint. He is an expert and really knows what he is doing. He is very personable and did an excellent job. He used aluminum foil tape to seal the dryer vent duct. I will definitely use him in the future.

It was very good. I was very happy. I had a bit of trouble with the provider honoring my coupon, but he eventually did.

They got here soon, were able to do the work Ina few hours. Biggest issue is an annoyance in that to determine the problem, they had to cut several small holes in the drywall ceiling and walls. But they don't fix them, and warn you of that before they do the work. I said fine, but am left with these holes to fix! It was a while ago, so I don't remember the cost,my it was reasonable

One of the first things we did when we bought our house was replace the washer/dryer. When we were installing the new dryer, we noticed that the vents were packed with lint. Dan responded through Angie's List and set up a time that he could come out and clean our vents. He arrived on time and got right to it. Cleaning dryer vents is loud, and somewhat dirty, work. He did a good job of cleaning up after himself, so that when he was done, the only way we could tell anything was done was that our clothes were drying quicker! Overall, we were very happy with the service.

Dan turned on my dryer and went outside to get an efficiency reading. He cleaned the vent, etc. and took another efficiency reading. Dan showed me how to take apart the lint trap to clean it properly, reassembled it, and cleaned up the fuzzy residue. He was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely hire him again.

Awesome service! We have 2 dryers that are vented together. When I called to schedule the cleaning, he quoted $129.00 per dryer. When he finished cleaning the dryer vents, he only charged for one dryer. Not only is he an expert at cleaning dryer vents but he is honest and has excellent customer service skills. Next time I need this type of service, he's my man!

Dan is a pro.  From scheduling to installation, all went well. He knows his business and is willing to share his knowledge with his customers. What a great person to work with!

They did a great job. The service requested was to have our dryer vent cleaned, but the Vent Guys found that the dryer vent was not venting to the outside and rather was shooting lint in to our walls (a fire hazard!). They reattached the dryer vent, cleaned everything up, and put a new dryer vent cover on the outside of our house (to prevent any vermin from getting in).  We appreciated their professionalism, expertise, and friendliness. Would highly recommend them!

Dan was great. He came out right when he said he would and performed the worked. He found a way to fix some venting issues the previous owners of the house created as well. Coincidentally, our dryer died the next week and he made an extra trip out (free of charge) just to make sure it was not a venting issue before we made the investment to purchase a new dryer.  We need to update some additional venting issues this spring and will definitely be having the Vent Guys do the work.

The dryer vent was completely blocked and also had a section that needed to be replaced. The contractor came out as scheduled, cleaned out the dryer vent, replaced duct tape that was applied to areas where parts were connected and replaced a section of the old vent. He replaced a 90 degree joint with 2 45 degree joints to reduce the possibility of the vent getting clogged up in the future.
He did a great job and I am very pleased with the service. The contractor also spent extra time explaining how the dryer venting works and provided me with advice on DIY maintenance.

The work turned out to be okay.  They did a good job.  I never had it done before, so I don't know what to compare it to.  I have nothing to compare the price to.  Their punctuality was nice.
