U S BANK HOME MORTGAGE

The transaction went fairly well, and was relatively simple to complete. The terms were neither the best nor the worst around. However, I was told I'd have to pay a $1,400 fee if I wanted to not escrow insurance payments, but the company messed up and I ended up paying them anyway, except they're also tacked on to my mortgage payment, so I am overpaying. I am having a hard time getting someone to take responsibility to remedy this, so it's frustrating. It's like once I signed the papers they have no interest in service.

We had a second mortgage on our home for a year. We paid plenty to have this mortgage. In fine print that nobody shared with us is there is a $75.00 fee per year and a $350.00 prepayment fee if we were to close this account. There rate went up to 9.30% and I redid my loan at my credit union for 6.15%. I would never deal with this bank. After I told this bank I was closing this loan then all of a sudden they were willing to drop the rate not to lose me.
