Two Bettys Green Cleaning Service

Two Betty's cleans my house every two weeks, four hours per visit generally. When our cleaner needs to skip a week, or when our regular cleaner leaves the company, the agency schedules a replacement who then emails us directly to schedule a time. The process is seamless -- the notes in their system about our house (where things are, and entry/lock-up procedures) must be incredibly detailed. Everyone has been great to work with, each cleaner is very responsive over emails and texts and proactive about making sure schedule changes are clear, and always friendly/trustworthy. No complaints on the cleaning itself.

They were pretty good. They are kind of expensive. Yes, I would use them again. They were a pretty good cleaning service, but expensive.

Its just always been all correct to our expectations.

They are super easy to work with. I love that a representative at Two Betty's came out to look at the house, ask what I wanted done and matched me up with a cleaner.

Two Betty's has been a wonderful house cleaning service.  I began using them about a year ago after I'd become dissatisfied with my previous service provider.  Two Betty's matched me up with my own "Betty" (aka house cleaner).  From the start, Nicole was extremely professional and kind.  She came to my house to do an initial estimate of cost, and to work out a cleaning schedule with me that worked for both of us.  I love that Two Betty's matches you up with one cleaner.  My old service did not do that, so the level of cleaning service was different every time.  Knowing that Nicole was the person that would be cleaning my house gave me peace of mind.  She always did a fantastic job - catching all of the dust bunnies, emptying the trash, even replacing small items she had to move when dusting.  The best part is that she was so kind with my small dog.  I wasn't forced to crate her on the days Nicole came to clean.  I would highly recommend Two Betty's and Nicole in particular.  I'm moving to a new house, and while Nicole won't be able to continue to provide my services there, I will definitely be sticking with Two Bettys' in the future.

Great. Friendly and helpful.

I stopped since that last service because my gal left for another job and so I decided to save some money and put it on hold for a while. It was $35 an hour. We had an issue with the first person and they were on it, they dealt with it professionally and appropriately. The first person we had was terrible.

Overall we have been very happy with Two Betty's, which is supported by the fact that we've used them for 6 years now.  They are very friendly, payment is easy, their rates are more than reasonable, and they are committed to using the best products and processes to clean our home.  
My only issue with the service is the potential turn-over on your Betty.  I love the fact that this company employs artists and individuals who are in the art field (whether is it graphic, music, textile, anything!) and they pay a great wage to their employees. However, you can have a bit of turnover and there is variability from Betty to Betty.  We have had some outstanding Betty's, and some that are just average.  That is what I am struggling with now - a move from a stellar Betty to one that is just OK.  I've had to finish cleaning bathrooms and floors the day of my clean, something that i haven't had to do in the past. I think it is just what each person is capable of completing in that amount of time can differ.  With that in mind, I've always let it slide because I know some weeks with 2 kids and a dog, our home cleaning task can be a bit daunting.
With the inconsistency in the quality of the clean, we have always had great personal and communication experiences with our Betty (with one exception, but that was taken care of rather quickly - I don't think that individual ended up being a good fit for their company overall).  We've also had a Betty that almost felt like she was part of our extended family - leaving sweet notes, arranging our kid's toys in fun little ways, going that extra mile when she knew we had a particularly crazy week.  It is that kind of stuff that kept us with them for so long.
I would recommend this place, but if you have concerns with the quality of the clean, please let them know.  I like our current Betty from a personal standpoint so much that I am overlooking the quality issues of them, which does speak volumes to the type of individuals this company employs.  I joke with friends that hiring them may have saved our marriage - the stress relieved by their help every other week has made a world of difference in our family.

One person came and took about two and half hours to complete the cleaning.  It looked fine, she did a good job. I asked her for some specific things and it was satisfactory.  I would say she works good and doesn't waste time.  We asked her to come back every two weeks.

The initial consultation was great.  We felt we could go over our expectations in great detail; however, i'm not sure how much of that information gets translated to the actual Betty cleaning your home. I think the first consultation is just to get an accurate price quote. We liked our Betty okay. She was very nice and did a good (but not perfect) job but we are fairly picky homeowners. I think we had higher expectations - probably unjustly so because these Bettys are not professional cleaners (well, at least not like those that do this for a living/primary profession).  Our Betty didn't really vacuum behind or under anything - and that was part of the reason we wanted a house cleaning service. It's easy for us to vacuum the "easy" spots in our home. The harder part is crouching down, getting under the bed, behind closet doors, etc.  So all in all, we loved the easy communication, easy payment, and the fact they use green products. Our Betty was also extremely nice and SUPER accommodating to our last-minute needs to reschedule due to conflicts having a newborn baby. Maybe our Betty was new or just not that attentive to the details....but we ended after maybe 6 months or so. I would give it a shot though because if you get the right Betty, I think it would be a great fit!

My experience has gone very well. I have quite a large house and they did an excellent job. The staff is very professional and friendly while visiting. The pricing is reasonable and I would recommend this company to others.

Wonderful, reliable service.  Have been using them for several months now.  My cleaner always arrives promptly and finishes the clean in the estimated time.  She cheerfully works around my two large dogs.  And my house is wonderfully clean at the end.  I highly recommend Tow Bettys to anyone looking for ongoing housekeeping.

We have been using Two Bettys for the past four years and absolutely love them! We receive a bi-weekly clean, which takes 4 hours, and feel that their rates are fair and totally worth it, especially because we have a large dog that sheds a lot! Our Betty is always on time, does a great job and will do special targeted cleans if we ask. Unfortunately, because of life circumstances of the Bettys, we have had a a lot of turnover. However, the quality of the service has remained consistent. We highly recommend Two Bettys!

I liked that even though they had independent contractors doing the work, they still had sort of an organization of a single company that I could go through, so I wasn’t out looking for an individual on my own. I thought their pricing was very fair, especially for a company and someone ensuring that they had insurance and so forth. I was willing to pay a little more for sort of the oversight that they provided. I used them in 2009 for a year, and I may have paid about $2,000. All the cleaners that came to my house were friendly, nice, personable and trustworthy. I got to know them on a personal basis because I worked from home, and I even hired some of them as babysitters later. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We have been using Two Bettys for almost 3 years now and have been very pleased.  You have the same Betty every visit and they provide their own green cleaning products.  They do a very thorough job and have nice attention to detail as well.  They are always very professional, friendly and amazingly efficient.  Since this person has access to our home while we are at work, it is nice to have peace of mind and trust in that individual.  When we moved from our first home, we needed to have a new Betty assigned.  The owner was sure to set up a meeting with our new Betty which was really nice and she took the time to "get to know" our house ahead of time so she knew just where to focus on her first visit.  The owner has always been great about communication and making sure any changes had a smooth transition.  
I always look forward to my cleaning day and am always so thrilled with how fantastic our home looks.  It just shines and feels so fresh.  We have young kids and our Betty will even put our daughter's stuffed toys in cute little arrangements on her bed during visits.  Little details like that are really sweet.
I also love that we have some flexibility too - if we ever need to cancel or reschedule a clean, it is always an easy and smooth process.  And, if our regular Betty isn't available for the time we need to reschedule, they have always gone above and beyond to try and help find another Betty that might be able to help fill in if we want.  
All around excellent customer service.

Two Bettys cleaning people did basic bi-weekly cleaning of our 1600 sqft apartment. They provided all of their own green cleaning products and did a very proficient job. The cleaning person spent extra time, at no additional cost, during the first visit when she was getting acquainted with our apartment and our needs.  We were very pleased with their services.

They work only in the Minneapolis area. I would highly recommend them. We have a bi-weekly service. They come in and do an assessment on how long they think it will take. They also check on how often we want the cleaning done. If we have anything specific to be done, we can leave the list. They use organic products. They make their own cleaning solutions. If we have an aversion to a particular smell, we can choose either not to have anything or have something else that we like more. They add oils and fragrances to their products only if we want it. It is kind of cool. They do a really thorough job. We are charged on an hourly basis. When we started using them, they were charging us $35 an hour. I don?t know if the prices have changed now.
