He arrived on time. He went through my duplex top to bottom, inside and outside, and explained what his findings were.

Bill was very nice, easy to schedule with, and arrived promptly. I appreciated the information he have during walk through and SEEMED to mow what he was doing. In my report he soecifically noted only a few minor things in the electrical section, including junctions outside a box in the attic. This is how I know he HAD to have looked at the wiring. Within a month of purchasing my I went to the attic and clearly saw that it was wired entirely with knob and tube wiring. It is a very expensive repair and one that must be for before you can have the house insured. I sent Bill a letter to follow up and received no response. Overall, I'm out the money for the worthless inspection and the thousands it cost to fix the problem. Had I known, I would have walked away from the house. very disappointed in his service and professionalism.

Bill was recommended to us by our realtor to do the housing inspection for a house we were hoping to purchase. We already had our bid accepted and the sale was contigent on this housing inspection. We were out of town when the inspection was performed, so our realtor was here when it happened. Bill emailed us a copy of the inspection since we were away and answered all of our questions via the phone. It appeared that he did a very thorough job from the report. We bought the house and Bill came over after we had moved in to go over the report with us. This was great because we had a lot of questions since we had been living here for 3 weeks. He was extremely thorough and spent a full 2 hrs going over everything with us including answering a lot of questions that weren't in the report. He helped us trouble shoot some air conditing issues and showed us how to change all the filters. After we do some of the repairs suggested, we will have come over to look at the work. Bill was very knowledgable, well spoken, and friendly. He did not charge us to come out and go over the report even though it was 4 months after the inital inspection. I think he is amazing and would highly recommend him. We had asked him if he had any referral companies, and he said that he doesn't do referrals because the could be a conflict of interest. I.E. your roof is bad, I know this guy Bob... We appreciated his integrity!

Absolutely wonderful! We contacted Bill to do the pre-inspection on the home we were selling. Not only was he prompt, but he did a VERY thorough job. He then gave me specific instructions on all items needing attention. Once those repairs were completed, he came back to inspect the work. When it came time to conduct the inspection on the house we were buying, there was no question that we were going with Bill. The guy is extremely detailed and takes the time to explain to the home owner what needs to be done and more importantly how it should be done.

We think the world of Bill and don't want anyone we know to buy a house without consulting him first. He saved us from purchasing a home with a huge number of ''hidden'' problems. We joke that he is a combination of Sherlock Holmes and Mr. Gadget. With the truth-in-housing he conducted on the home we sold, he did things such as move our smoke detectors for us because they were in the wrong place rather than just tell us they were incorrect. On the house we fortunately got out of buying, he was able to deduce a potential cracked sewer pipe by piecing together a set of obscure clues. We feel very confident that our new home is structurally sound. As our realtor said - she absolutely hates to have him inspect the houses she's selling but she loves having him on her buyer's side! In addition, he gave us great price breaks for using him more than once.

Bill was alway prompt and provided information exactly as he stated. He was willing to work with us when events changed and we needed additional services. He is excellent at documentation and explaining clearly to home owners what is both good and bad about the home being inspected. He answered questions we had and never rushed us. Twin Cities Home Evaluations provided us exceptional customer service and flexibility to meet our schedule. Would definately hire again and have recommended Twin Cities Home Evaluations to friends. Bill also provided additional support to us about a year after we purchased the home when we had a dispute with a home warrenty provider who tried to deny our claim. Bill was willing to speak on our behalf and state that the inspection he performed showed that the claim should be approved. Bill didn't ask for compensation for this additional support a year after he performed the home inspection. Excellent service and thourough inspection. Very pleased.

Bill was great to work with. He was very easy to talk to, explained things in an easy to understand way, and gave very useful tips in upkeeping/improving the house after we move in. He was also open to answering general questions I had on the home projects I was finishing up on the house I was selling.

Bill was very thorough - went through the house himself, then walked us through it, and then went through everything a third time with the report he'd prepared. He also prepared information for things we may need to do, helpful hints for keeping things kept up.

BILL WAS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. HE TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN MANY DETAILS TO US. NOW THAT WE HAVE OWNED THE HOUSE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, HOWEVER, WE HAVE FOUND SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE HOUSE THAT WE FEEL HE SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT, E.G. WATER DAMAGE IN THE BASEMENT, EXPOSED LEAD PIPE, AND A CHIMNEY THAT IS NOT UP TO CODE.

WE WERE IN A FAST-BID SITUATION ON THE HOUSE WE WERE BIDDING ON, AND BILL INSPECTED ON 14 HOURS NOTICE. A THOROUGH INSPECTION, LOTS OF TIPS, SENSIBLE PERSPECTIVE, GREAT FOLLOW UP ONCE WE BOUGHT. HE DID AN EQUALLY THOROUGH JOB WITH THE SELLER'S INSPECTION. A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.
