Took my son's car in recently to have the exhaust system repaired. They were able to find a cost effective solution to the problem, instead of wanting to replace the entire exhaust system. I have a brother that's a mechanic, and he said these guys are well known around town for doing quality work. Highly recommended!

They changed their name to St. Cloud's exhaust. He was extremely helpful, gave it a good going over and has always done great work for us. He always gives us a nice deal. He uses very good quality parts.

Todd was able to tell me over the phone that they could do the work. It took one day to get in and two days to get the job done. All of the pipes back from the mufflers were custom formed. I had previously received a an estimate from a truck dealership at three times the cost of Tim's price.

Dropped off the car at 8 am and decided to wait for it, and I brought my computer along so I could work while I waited.  After a few minutes, Tim introduced himself.
Turns out he is a full-blooded almost fanatic old car guy.  He got my car up on the rack and talked me through alternatives to consider for the exhaust system.  He knew off the top of his what could be used and where it should run (even though the entire exhaust system was gone), and clearly explained the advantages and disadvantages of various alternatives.  In the process he pointed out some important things to consider to get and keep the brakes and shock absorbers (which are kind of special in this car) into top condition, and how to keep them working well.  He recommended a couple of local sources for reconditioning of old brake parts, and had some great pointers on other work I could do under the car.  I liked the fact that they reconditioned the original mounting system for the exhaust rather than just putting in a generic mounting arrangement.  He has a very holistic approach to cars, and particularly loves the old ones.
We settled on a direction for the work (everything they needed was in stock!) and they got to work.  As the work progressed, the team regularly came in and took me out to see what they were doing, which I greatly appreciated.
As I sat in the shop waiting area, I saw a steady stream of clients come through, with many different things to work on;  from brand new truck exhaust modifications, to motorcycle discussions, to engine work, and more modern exhaust questions and repairs.   Each client was carefully questioned and alternatives were discussed.
I was there for about three hours total, and in that time I talked with 3 different customers that were having work done. They were all repeat customers, and they swore Tim was the best in the business at what he did, and all their work came to his shop.  It was impressive to hear the range of topics Tim could discuss in detail, and all the different ways he could help people out with issues.
When the work was done, Tim and the guy from his shop took me out and showed me what they had done and why.  It was a beautiful, solid piece of work.  They even coated the exhaust with paint to slow down the rust.  Tim backed off the rack and drove it around to the front of the shop for me to take over.  Turns out, he gets a kick out of driving all these old beauties.
The old Buick now has a civilized sound...not quite stock appearance but to the casual observer it would be hard to tell.  It's got just the right sound (another set of things they can custom fit for your taste), and makes the car even more enjoyable to drive.
If you bring your car into Tim's shop, be ready to take some time talking over your needs, and considering your alternatives.  They'll do a great job for you.

I initially just wanted a couple temporary pipes removed and replaced with permanent pipes-- but when Tim and I took a look under the old Triumph-- we realized it was time to bite the bullet and replace the system from the headers back. It had rust holes all over it.. Knowing Tim's reputation for doing great work--- I let him proceed into the custom work. This is the best decision I could have made-- to let Tim proceed with his design and process. It was well worth the $$$$ and time. Tim even gave me his keys to his car so I could go get something to eat at a local place.. He did not know me at all-- just trusted me (as I trusted him)..
I cannot give this guy and his business high enough marks. It's all about the end result-- and Tim is a genius with exhaust work.
The TR8 sounds like it was always supposed to... I had a smile on my face for the whole 45 mile trip home in traffic.
Cheers Tim-- you did it right.

I have used him once earlier too. Tim is a great guy; he is very accessible, knowledgeable, and professional. His price seems very competitive and his quality of work is top-notch. He is pretty upfront about what he is doing and what it is going to cost. He is a good chap to work with; I would recommend him.

They were excellent. They told you what the problem was and they fixed it efficiently. When I had questions or problems they would always take a look at my car. I highly recommend this company.
