THE BIG PICTURE

Took some time to get our schedules to work. Robin was great, has many options, great suggestions, and has a great eye to make the final product the best it can be. Both of my frames matched and turned out great. Very happy with Robin and the service and I will definitely contact her to do more work in the future. Great service!

We met briefly and she listened to what I was looking for.  She made a few suggestions....all of which I liked.  We eventually decided on a matting and frame package.  She completed the service on time and at the price of the estimate. She listened to what I was looking for and then came up with some options that also was gave the art the best chance to shine.  She is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about what she does and I will be going to her with my next framing need.

It went great. Robin (Big Picture) did a fine job, at approximately half the price. No kidding. I'm calling her this week to frame another picture. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Robin was so ready to help me with my project of finding very reasonable custom frames for all my pictures. She made time for me and was not rushed. She completed the work promptly as well. She was so easy to work with and made me feel so comfortable with her very quickly. She is a great framer and person.

Very easy to work with and the product turned out great! Pricing is lower as she does not have the overhead costs of a storefront. Highly recommend.

Robin works out of her home and passed her low over-head costs on to me as the customer - it was great!  I got my art work professionally framed for about 1/3 less than I paid at an art store.  She's very professional, and helped me choose framing options for the work that make them look fabulous.  I recommend her to any and all of my friends, and can confidently say that she deserves an A+ rating!

We found Robin via Angie's list and were impressed
with the reviews of her work. We gave her a call and had a chat with her about
what we needed done and the timeframe we needed them in. Robin asked a few
pertinent questions about where the prints were going to be hung and the color
scheme of the room and floor. She then made an appointment to visit the house
and bring samples with here.
When she arrived, we had the bamboo floor and base cabinet for the bookshelves
in place so she had a feel for the color of the woods. The walls had been
painted as well, and she expertly matched the wall coloring to the mat color,
then suggested the best frame choices that would complement the cabinets and
floor. I brought out a piece that was my wife's favorite and asked about what
she thought about the framing and matting of that print, she indicated that the
mat was of the wrong type and should be replaced, and the frame was outdated
and the wrong color for what we wanted (which matched my opinion as well.)
An estimate was provided and I gave her the three prints. She kept me informed
of the progress and when we received them back, we were extremely pleased and
impressed with the results. The actual price came in within budget even though
the frames style had to be changed slightly to accommodate the color we wanted.
She even provided UV protection glass without charge.
Not only were we impressed with her work, but at our annual Christmas party of
our group, there were rave comment about how good the prints matched the room.
We heartily recommend The Big Picture to anyone requiring framing; we will
certainly be using her services again in the near future.

Robin has been doing framing for me for years and everything she has done looks great  and I especially like the special artistic touches (unique fillets, discreet touches of color inside the matting, etc) which make the painting or print really pop.  This summer I brought her what I thought was a fairly ordinary signed print which had been hanging unnoticed in my home for years and asked if it was hopeless and pretty much asked her to do whatever she thought might make it worthy of hanging in my new home.  I now have a work of art, not an ordinary print, that is the focal point of my dining room.  She used a matte gold frame, perfect matting and a narrow fillet which matches the frame. It also has non reflective museum quality glass.   I cannot believe it's the same print and everyone thinks it's something new..

Quality of the work was very good.  There was a wide variety of materials to choose from and the price was very competitive.  Unlike a large craft store the work is done in house.  Therefore if there is an issue it can be taken care of right away instead of being sent out of state.

I left a voicemail for Robin and she called me back the same day. I told her I had two Bev Doolittle prints I wanted framed, and provided the approximate size and mats and she gave me an estimate for both prints over the phone. I immediately set up an appt to meet her and discuss what I wanted done. She was extremely professional. She asked me where the prints would be, the room color, the 'feel' of the room, in an attempt to frame and mat the prints to get the most benefit and to really highlight the artwork itself. She offered suggestions on mat color, type/color of frame, and was very honest with her thoughts and suggestions, which I truly appreciated. She listened to my concerns and answered my questions.

As it turns out, the frame I chose for one of the prints was no longer available. I went back to her office and picked out a different frame.

Within one month, she delivered both prints and they were beautifully done! She really took her time to do the job right, and you can tell by her finished work that she put her heart into it and it shows! She really cares that the customer is happy. I am very picky and particular about details, and I was pleased to see that these prints were perfect!

She most definitely has earned my business and any future framing needs I may have.

I called and set up an appt with Robin for June 5. I wanted her to hang one of the Bev Doolittle prints, as well as another print I have at the house. Once again, she did a professional job, and the prints were hung perfectly!

Robin is great. She had some excellent ideas for frames and worked with me until I came up with something I liked.  She is very professional and responsive.  I highly recommend her for framing and will surely return with subsequent framing projects.

I spoke with Robin and arranged to bring her the painting and poster. She was very friendly and professional and I had the framed pieces back within a couple of weeks.

Robin took a print that had been poorly stored and did a great job of framing it. Some repair was needed. She listened well to my tastes in her framing. I am very pleased with the results.

Robin took two drawings in different styles and different media, yet similar topic, and was able to frame them individually so they each look great by themselves, and look great together. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Robin went above and beyond by adding her own artistic detail on the matting portion to tie it all together. She has a great eye for making the artwork pop. We didn't know she was going to do that, and it really looks cool. One was from Wicked and she found a wonderful mat design and then added her own artistic touch to bring out some subtle colors. The other poster was from Hairspray and she brought some of the color design pattern of the poster into the matting. The frames were understated yet elegant choices.
