On the most recent service call, Mike Carlson, waived the service call as a courtesy to me, and this was MOST appreciated. Mike and his staff of experienced technicians are the BEST in the business.
I would hire Team Mechanical for any Heating and/or A/C you may be considering and use them for follow up service. I like Team Mechanical because they are highly motivated to satisfy their customers and they do NOT "nickle and dime" their customers with hidden fees and charges.
Thanks again Mike and Dennis for saving the day! A job well done!
I worked with two teams (heating/cooling) over the course of two years. The first project was actually part of a basement rehab wherein the old low hanging hot water pipes (and all other pipes) were removed and replace with pex flexible piping that could fit between joists. I also replaced the old huge radiators that ate up about 20 square feet of space with euro style flat wall hung radiators. I had met with several contractors for estimates. Team Mechanical's estimate was in line with the others, but in discussing the project they for saw problems others had not and also found solutions. They were very responsive to my desire to have the outcome meet certain esthetic considerations (which I was very worried about and they patiently listened to and helped me resolve). They also had to work around all the other work going on in my basement. The outcome has thus far been excellent. Heat is wonderful and you wouldn't even know I had radiators unless I pointed them out to you. All of Team Mechanical workers took their job very seriously and obviously felt a sense of pride in their work. By the time the job was complete (it took several months because of MY other work going on, not due to them) I felt like I was not only saying goodbye to contractors, but to friends.
The second project was central high velocity air conditioning. Again, they were responsive to my consideration of where the air inlet/outlets would be esthetically unobtrusive but also effective. Like in the earlier project they had several guys working for several days to get the job done. They were incredibly nice and thoughtful about cleaning and doing a good job. In fact, at one point the electric went out in the entire neighborhood and they couldn't proceed. They killed time by sweeping my front landing, steps and sidewalks! The air conditioning works amazingly well in this old house and I think it was a great investment.
I would HIGHLY recommend Team Mechanical. They were a pleasure to work with and I have no regrets. I also have rental units and since then have had need for work on those boilers. They were very good helping me try to first solve a problem over the phone (worked!) saving me a service call and another time when that wouldn't help came out early the next morning.
Though I didn't speak to them directly while they did the work, they were very helpful when I called with questions (it was my first home with hot water heat). When one radiator appeared to be leaking after I had floor sanding done, a service rep came over to tighten things down properly at no charge.
