This was absolutely perfect. Dave recommended a few door options to us and picked up our order at the hardware store for us, installed it perfectly, hauled away the old door, and communicated each step of the way. This was unbelievably smooth and easy and I can't rate him highly enough.

Dave is the storm door expert! He was very responsive in getting me scheduled. He answered all my questions clearly and patiently. He explained the options and has in-depth knowledge of the types of doors available. He picked up my new door on the way over (special order from Menards). He even inspected my drafty back storm door (installed by someone else) and did a minor fix to improve the seal. He's also a very kind and friendly guy. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat!

I would recommend Dave to anyone I know! He was incredibly accommodating with scheduling our storm door installation and was on time the day of. He is obviously very knowledgeable about storm doors – the name of the company says it all! He was familiar with the door we had purchased and was fast and careful with the installation. He took the time to show me all the features of the door and ensure I was 100% happy with his work before he left. He was affordable and just an incredibly nice person. Dave did a very professional job. Nice tight fit. Dave picked up my storm door after I had purchased it at Menard's. He is very busy so it took two weeks from the measuring of my door and estimate until the install. With the haul away of my old storm door the total price was $180.00. Well worth it. All Dave does is storm doors and the quality of install shows it.

This whole process went EXACTLY like Dave at Storm Doors Only said it would, and hiring somebody who does 5 of these things a day spared me so much wasted time, energy and frustration. Dave and I talked briefly on the phone. He came out and took measurements. He gave me the measurements to take into Menards to order a custom door. I did, and paid for the door. (Menards charged me about $500 for the custom door; but it would have been FAR less expensive if my door opening had been "standard.") A couple of weeks later, I got an email telling me my door was in. I texted Dave the order number and HE PICKED IT UP. Ninety minutes and $160 later, my door was installed and in perfect working order. This was all AFTER I'd tried (and failed) to buy and install a new door myself. I'd done it before on a previous home. It was difficult and took me all day, and I didn't look forward to repeating the experience. I'm so glad I found Storm Doors Only. I'll never try to install a storm door myself again.

Storm Doors Only provided excellent service. They came out, helped us choose visually pleasing and reasonably-priced replacements, and provided other recommendations to improve the value and comfort of the house related to the space around the doors. On installation day, Storm Doors Only removed three gross old doors and installed two new ones. The third door that was removed was sheltered by our breezeway, and was both unnecessary and kind of a hassle, so it was a good decision. Storm Doors Only purchased the doors on our behalf. This was not a requirement, and suspect they made a commission on them, but the overall price for the work was highly competitive. Storm Doors Only also informed us that one of the brackets for the door would not hold well as the wood was rotten inside the house. They came out a second time to attempt using longer screws, but ultimately our house has problems that require a full-service contractor. So we were satisfied.

Dave was responsive to my request for a storm door with screen. Door was installed on my timetable. He discovered a problem with the threshold of the door but was able to work around it. I later brought the problem to the builder’s attention who is now in the process of fixing the threshold.

Dave was wonderful to work with. I had three storm doors to replace. He came to my home to measure and help me select the best storm doors to purchase. He then purchased them from Lowes so that he could pass on a contractor discount, picked them up and installed them. The doors work great. Dave was always punctual and professional.

It went great. He came out to do the estimate right away. He made some good suggestions based on what I wanted. I was pleased with the estimate, and the work was done within the week. The doors look and function great.

Efficient, honest, quality work

Had a great experience with Dave from Storm Doors Only. Both my front and back storm door weren't closing properly, and Dave fixed both doors. He worked with the eccentricities of my older house and didn't push me to get new doors when he could fix the old ones. Very friendly, professional service.

Called Dave. Told him what I needed. He thoroughly described everything. I checked the Larson website to verify the door he mentioned, latch, color, etc. Called him on a Wednesday and he was able to do it on the following Saturday. Very professional. Took the old door with him. Left me two specific small piles one for garbage and one for recycling. I've never had a job go easier than this! And the door is really, really well built. Because this is all he does - he knows the best options. Would definitely hire again. Money well spent.
