Took longer than expected. Cost was at the upper end, but they were able to get me in right away. They did a great job. No complaints about quality. And they followed up to make sure everything was good.

I spent over $2,000. I've had several dealings with them and every time I've had a problem and went back to them, they worked really hard to fix it so they stand by their customers. I had to take the car back a couple of times to get it corrected because of parts failure. The price was fine. They were very responsive. They got right to whatever my issues were.

They are very nice and explain everything to you. I feel that I'm not cheated on their pricing.

Steve's Tire & Auto has been our primary provider of all of our auto maintenance needs for over 20 years.  They are professional and always timely.  They always provide accurate estimates for any job and they maintain a record of all our cars maintenance history and notify us when our vehicles are due for service.  On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Steve's Tire & Auto at 46th and Nicollet, in Minneapolis, an 11!

Purchased a used Volvo in the fall who had been using Steve's for their non warranty work.  I called them and they had full access to the previous owners records and recommended that I not do some of the items I thought I should, as the previous owner already had (nice honesty!).  They were able to get me in next day and accommodated getting me out in a couple hours, exactly as promised.
Great first experience with them and will continue to use.  Spending a couple hours in the lobby was able to get a feel for how they treat each other and customers-very responsive and respectful, whether the person drove a rusty Mazda or a BMW 3 series.  Pricing seemed fair and they demonstrated genuine passion for customer service.

The oil change took about an hour.  They advertise getting you in & out in 20 minutes.  The time was approximately 11:30a on a Thursday or Friday (I don't recall which).   Other services are not cost-competitive with market rates. They noted that my truck tires need to be replaced soon, and indeed they do.  They gave me a price quote of over $350/per tire ($1400+ for the vehicle), which is easily 50% more than other shops, such as Fleet Farm, Sam's Club or Costco.   Another outrageous quote we got was for replacement of an air-conditioning clutch for a 2003  Honda Civic Hybrid back in Fall 2012.  Their quote was for $1500.  We took the vehicle to a Honda dealership and had the same work completed for less than $1000.

They are respectful to me as an intelligent woman.

The people are always friendly. They seem to know cars (I can't judge them on that), so every time I get work done, it seems to have fixed the problem or prevented the problem. Their inspections are very thorough, so I am often in a position of having to decide whether I want sink certain sums of money into the 14-year-old thing. But when they review recommendations and estimates, they're not pushy. I always feel respected. The entire shop seems very neat and clean. And I am always amazed that I can pull in for an oil change without an appointment and be on my way almost before I can finish a cup of coffee.

Called on the way to the shop and was able to get my car in right away.  Was quoted $32.50 for repair of tire.  I live a few blocks away so I just left the car there.  They called about 30-45 minutes later saying the tire was fixed and they noted a brake light out (which I had already noted).  They quoted me $17 for brake bulb replacement.  I ok'd the replacement.  Got another call a few minutes later saying the original bulb had fallen into the plastic casing covering the break light and that it may be difficult to remove the bulb without removing the total assembly but they'd try.  Got another call about 30 minutes later.  They were able to remove the bulb without taking the assembly out and my bill would be $37.50 total (bulb was less than expected).  Always nice to pay less than expected.  Everyone was very courteous, professional and polite.

My wife was also in there with her 1994 PT Cruiser and we’re going to have quite a bit of work done and we trust them. They’re always doing a good job explaining both to me and my wife what’s going on. They’re always honest and friendly, about as good as you can get for an auto repair place.

They are pretty responsive. They are honest and up front. They have a very convenient location. Sometimes they are a little slower.

It went fine. I am happy with them.

They do a good job. The prices are reasonable and they are good about not trying to do more work than necessary. My only complaint is that it can take a while to get things done, which is probably just a result of the fact that they are a small station.

This was my first visit to Steve's new building and I was impressed with the design and the new quick oil change service. The manager even gave me a tour of the new building. There was no wait for the oil change and the work was excellent.

I took my vehicle to Steve's Tire and Auto to have my broken tail light replaced. I have been taking my vehicles there for 4 years. They are honest with me, and try to save me money. Their location is convenient to me. They have a shuttle service available, if needed. I am completely happy with their service. I will use them again in the future.
