Great, very helpful.

Our Oldsmobile started leaving puddles of antifreeze on the ground when parked. I dropped off our car first thing in the morning to have them take a look. We prepared for the worst, fearing a cracked engine block or something similar. After all, our car is old enough to vote. Steve called an hour later explaining the water pump needed replacing at a cost of $425.
This seemed like a fair exchange of money for service and parts. I replaced one before in another car and it's a bear of a job getting at it, getting it out, installing the replacement, and making sure the belt(s) are at the proper tension. I'd not volunteer to do it again.
This is just one example of the excellent service and advice we've received from Steve and his crew over the years. They've never hesitated to take care of small jobs at a moment's notice (oil change, bulb replacement, etc.). We've even called them from the road to determine if a 'sway' we felt in the steering needed immediate attention or could wait until we got home.
It's a great luxury having a mechanic you trust.

They are honest. They will tell you what you really need done to your car. They are very efficient.

My car did not start in the garage so I called them and Steve, the owner, immediately offered to have a technician come, look at it and fix the problem. The garage is two blocks away from my home. I picked up the technician in my other car, he came with the charger, got the car to run and drove it back to the garage where the battery needed to be replaced. Within an hour I had my car fixed. This neighborhood garage and gas station has been servicing our cars (including a hybrid car) for years now. We have been very pleased with the service, the speed and politeness, the honesty, not to forget the convenience of having them so close. No need to spend hours at a far away dealership. I can drop off a car and walk back to my house. They take care of the maintenance that needs to be done without going overboard, at decent prices.
