had changed light bulbs and they didn't work. Tom was able to get them working.cheched my brakes, noticed that the abs was engaging when the brakes were applied. Let me know and we decide to do the repair.He did all of the work in a timely manner. I really appreciate Toms work. He only does what is necessary and you never feel pressured. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He has saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs.

He has a fair price, does the job right and is a straight talker. He is very personable and friendly. I have been very happy with their services.

I have gone to St. Anthony Mobil for several years. You cannot find nicer guys than Roger, Tom, and the rest of the staff. I trust them completely and they sincerely want you to be satisfied and informed about your car. They are a little on the spendy side, but it is well worth it because when you drive away, you know that you got the best service out there. I have bought tires from them, had everything fixed from a signal light switch to replacing the alternator to a new exhaust system. If they point out unexpected repairs that you will need, you can believe them; unlike other places that are trying to pad their checkbook. They are always busy, so you cannot count on getting a free loaner car unless you call ahead a few days. I have not seen any ads for them, but all you have to do is sit a few minutes in their waiting room and see the steady stream of customers coming in who are greeted by name and who have no trouble leaving their expensive or economical vehicles in the care of these professionals. St. Anthony Mobil has a top-notched staff who can work on anything from A/C problems to cruise control, no matter the age of the vehicle. (The used one I just bought was 20 years old!) And by the way, Ben pointed out that it needed new rear brake cylinders and the A/C needed fixed. I took care of the former right away and the latter more recently. I cannot recommend them more highly. They will give you a lift home if you need it or come and pick you up to retrieve your car, if you'd like. And as a nice parting gesture, they will wash your car for free or give you a free-car-wash-card for later redemption. One more thing -- my 80 y.o. mother loves these guys and entrusts them with the upkeep of her 2000 Taurus (even though I have a brother -albeit very overworked- who is a mechanic!) We both live about 25 miles away (in Maple Grove) and do not mind the drive across the Cities to do business there. I also want to mention that sometimes you hear of repair places that take advantage of women or upon others whom they suspect they can pull a fast one over. Not here. St. Anthony Mobil has the most respect for everyone. I already mentioned my mother, but I also have a Hmong co-worker who does not speak English well. I recommended these guys to him and he was very happy with the service they did on his car.

I give St. Anthony Service my highest recommendation. They were recommended by AAA after my car had to be towed off of 35W by a separate towing company. When we arrived Tom Freiberg (owner) quickly noticed that the towing company had not used the right equipment to tow a 4WD vehicle and advised me to notify AAA. He was extremely thorough in evaluating the problem with the drive belt and its potential cause. He also saved evidence of the damage to the rear differential caused by the towing company, spoke to the towing company about the damage several times on my behalf, and called his AAA rep to see if there was any help he could get me through his connections there. He took time for all of this during a week when his partner was on vacation, and he was extremely busy. He was always patient and courteous when explaining things to me, as well. Tom exceeded every customer service expectation I had and charged a very fair price for the services performed. If Iived closer to the shop, St. Anthony Services would get all of my car maintenance business in the future.
