Dr. Karen was very compassionate and professional.
After, the injection she wrapped him in a blanket and placed him in a wicker basket so he looked like he was sleeping. He loved cat mint so she picked a sprig and tucked it next to his head. All nice touches which would make things go down easier for children. It did for me anyway.
She made a difficult time much easier.

I can't recommend Dr. Karen Randall highly enough. We had a big dog, Daisy who was over 17 years old and her body was failing. Dr. Randall first came to the house for an assessment and exam to see if there was anything we could do to make Daisy more comfortable. Dr. Randall is very gentle and caring not only for the pet, but also for the humans. She has a wonderful, kind, empathetic manner that is very reassuring during such a difficult time. Our second visit was for in-home euthanasia. She makes the experience pain free for your pet and as painless for the family as possible. She is so patient and supportive that your final time with your beloved pet is a peaceful goodbye.
Even if you love your own vet, Dr. Randall offers many services in the comfort of your own home if your pet is ill or aged. I wanted our beloved girl to be in her own home surrounded by her loved ones.
I am happy and thankful that we have such a capable Doctor providing a service that we were in need of in the Twin Cities.

Dr. Randall came to our home for end of life care/euthanasia for our faithful dog. She was exceptionally professional, explained each step of the procedure and very gentle. She allowed us to set the pace and allowed us time to grieve along the way. She was very understanding even when I cancelled my first appointment time then reschedule a few weeks later. A week later, we received a keepsake plaster paw print and card in follow up. Overall, a first class service.

This is a wonderful service. Dr. Randall is great. She has a wonderful bedside manner and makes the unhappy experience of putting your pet down as painless as possible. She even wrapped our dog in a blanket in a basket to take him to the car.
