After a house remodeling project, we wanted new furniture to fit our new great room. Karen came over, measured the room, listened to how we wanted to use the space and got a feel for our taste. She went back to the showroom and came up with a plan. We met and she showed me the fabrics and furniture. Everything looked beautiful and fit our idea of the room. The price was reasonable, the quality great, an order was placed. Six weeks later, the furniture was delivered-no extra charge. The delivery guys are store employees who were so careful, even the owner showed up once. We are very happy with the whole process, the furniture and design was exactly what we wanted.

They carry mostly American made furniture of nice quality. They are very customer friendly. The cushion in chair we purchased from them 3 years ago, we were not happy with, and they happily repaired it for us. We have always felt like for the quality of the furniture, the prices are fair and reasonable. They offer free delivery as well.

I have back trouble so I had been in to the store a lot to make sure I could get something accommodating. The owners and the designer assured me that the Norwalk pieces came through very consistently with the floor sample I had based my decision on. When I talked to one of the owners about the issues he said that the pieces they had on the floor were probably an oddity and that what I received was as it should be. They allowed me to return the items and purchase something more suitable, which I did, however they charged a $500 restocking fee. In addition to the restocking fee I was charged full price for the floor model I ended up purchasing, although I was told I was receiving a discount. I have sent several letters asking for a refund of the restocking fee with no response from the company whatsoever. I called and spoke to one of the owners who, when I asked about the charges, stated that I had gotten a "good deal" on the restocking fee and that was it.

"The customer purchased a sofa, chair & ottoman 1/25/10. Shortly thereafter she asked if she could return it; she didn't think it was as comfortable as the floor sample. Our Invoices state there is a 50% restocking fee since we are a custom order co. Since she liked the floor sample, we agreed to make the exchange for $500 instead of the 50%. She readily agreed. WE are at a loss as to why she now feels she can renege. We were left with three custom pieces."
