Description of Work: After 3 months of visits(and 3 missed appointments),many phone calls, Snap has finally said they cannot do the job. They only have a 40 ft ladder and altho they said they were locating their roofer colleague with a longer ladder, he too is unable to procure one. Is this not information they should have had in the first one or two weeks? Now it's winter so how can I get a decent roof inspection from someone else? I want a refund.

Description of Work: Got an estimate for air sealing and insulation of attic. Decided to get a second opinion from a highly-rated company on Angie's List. The owner of the other company came to our house and did a free inspection for an estimate (regretting purchasing the $49 Angie's List inspection "deal" from Snap) The second company has way more experience and actually was asked by Snap if they had anyone they could use as subcontractors. Well, they don't, because the owner and one other employee do all of the work themselves. And, the quote was half of what Snap's quote was. Needless to say I'm not going to pay double for work done by subcontractors with way less experience.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's list special- $500 worth of insulation for $99. What is not stated, and what I did not find out until their salesman was in my living room, is that this requires you to do a full house insulation. We were concerned only with our kitchen and did not require additional insulation in the house. The salesman was a pleasant fellow who was very quick to tell me to request a refund from AL, which led me to believe I'm not the first person misled by the offer. He did say the mix up was because of the way Angie's List requires them to describe the offer, but I have seen many varied offers where it was made clear that additional work (with additional $$ involved) was required. The waste of time on my part and theirs was regrettable.

Description of Work: Deal was for attic insulation inspection, with $500 credit for insulation installation. They replaced attic vents, sealed various penetrations that were allowing air leakage into the attic and blew in insulation. Project also qualified for energy rebate.

Description of Work: Ryan looked at my roof, and we found out that my roof was under warranty. He assisted me with getting my roof repaired for no cost. I would strongly recommend snap construction in the future, and I know I will use them again!

Description of Work: What a nice group of folks to work with! Everything was done faster than I thought it would be. Matt T went out of his way to get what I needed for a special window installation. He was always there to answer my questions. I truly appreciate these folks and hope to use them again in the near future.

Description of Work: I had an energy audit done on my house. We just had new windows put in, many new doors, and a lot of insulation in the attic. I wanted to know how the house would do in an energy audit. Snap Construction came and did the audit, including a blower door and said that our house was really good and they had no suggestions.

Description of Work: Installed attic installation. They were very knowledgeable, responsive and prompt. The sales person and project manager were very professional and helpful. The PM filed the paper work for our energy rebate. Our only complaint was with one of the workers. Our front door had been propped wide open for most of the afternoon as the installation was blown in. Given that it was close to zero outside, we became concerned after about an hour passed with no audible activity - and the door still open. When we checked with the remaining worker, he said his partner had left to pick up his wife, but would be back. They apparently left the door open so we wouldn't notice.

Description of Work: Showed up on time to look at roof. Said they would get back to me within a week or so. About a week later I was contacted by Snap and they said the guy who I was dealing with originally was out on a medical. Someone would contact me within the next week. A week later no contact. Another week later I decided to contact them. They apologized and said somebody would contact me soon. Nobody ever did contact me.

Description of Work: Or primary contact was Dave Rasmussen (Sr. Project Manager). |He was very helpful in reviewing the work that needed to be done as well as helping with the process for filing a claim for storm damage. He helped when the claim inspector came out and made sure we got a fair appraisal of the damage. |I would recommend working with Dave and his teams again.

Description of Work: The work was related to a roof maintenance package purchased on Angie's List and a repair to replace two 3-tab shingles that had blown off during a storm. Dan was the person who contacted me about my order and was very accommodating of my schedule when we set up times to meet. He was patient and provided some good information in advance. Once I was ready to move forward, the work was scheduled promptly and when weather impacted the ability to perform the work, they were good about letting me know. They rescheduled quickly. I think the only thing I would have liked them to do that they didn't is provide me a summary of the roof maintenance performed in conjunction with the package I purchased. The work was performed when I was at work. Based on their overall response, I trust they did a good job, but would have liked a written summary.

Description of Work: "Contracted to have house and garage roof replaced, plus some damaged gutter and facia around porch. SNAP uses Angie List logo in their ads. and they were designated 2014 metro roofer of year by I m not sure what organization. Angie s List gave them SuperAward in 2013. I checked my house roof after it had been completed and found that most of the flashing, except for the chimney had not been replaced...my salesman,(field rep.) was then told by the roofing crew that they did not replace the flashing. If I had not checked the work and complained it would probably have remained as is. Matt, field rep., did step up and remedy the situation. I asked for a discount because of these troubles but it was denied and I was told it was because of the high cost of the remedial work. The estimate they did was the highest one of three I had obtained. I have given SNAP two thirds of the cost and still have to pay the balance."
