While we were working on our nursery, we went to the neighborhood Settergren's Ace Hardware. They were very helpful and professional. Being a novice to wall papering, they were very helpful and patient. They even had the products that the big box store didn't have that we needed!

The people who work there are so helpful. In this cade, he was pleasant and truly cared that I get the right solution

The staff has been friendly ever ytime we've gone in.  (We've used them as our hardware store for maybe 20 years.)   They know my wife by name, and say, "Hi Pat".   They have helped with numerous small and  big home repair quesitons. We've gotten lots of free advice.   They have also supplied us with names of local contractors and those have worked out well, especially the guy that installed our garage door.    Prices are a little more than at big box stores, but that is offset by the advice of how to use the merchandize.  And offset also by only walking a little instead of trapsing down long aisles.   Settergren's has recently opened two more stores, so is a chain of three. We've only been to the original store on Penn Avenue.

Settergren is great. My husband and I were warmly greeted before even walking into the store. Once in the store we were immediately offered assistance in finding what we were looking for. Several of the staff helped us find what we needed. They also talked through our project and made very helpful suggestions about tools, supplies, and ways to save money without compromising quality. Settergren is always well staffed and the staff are knowledgeable, skilled, and helpful. The store itself is a little overwhelming (they have a lot of stuff in a small space) but the staff know where everything is and are always willing to help. Even the dog at the store is friendly and kind!
