SAGE HOMES

Our house looks wonderful. We have used Sage in the past for a kitchen/dining room remodel as well and are very happy with the quality and craftsmanship. Very highly skilled carpenters and Eric (owner/PM) is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We will continue to use them as needed.

I got great service from them. It was a two months project.

The non-carpentry work was great, but if I had it to do over again, I'd choose someone else for the carpentry. I'd expressed some concern to the crew of carpenters (the job sup came with them in the morning but left after a couple of hours) before they left about the new garage door trim, but decided to let it go, sent a check promptly after their invoice arrived. A couple of days later, I noticed that the trim work on the screened porch was completely unsatisfactory so I emailed the company to let them know there was a problem, and then I called my bank and put a stop on my check. Eric, from Sage, did contact me promptly to let me know that they'd take care of any issues, and I let him know that I'd stopped the check. At this point, he became verbally abusive (called me antagonistic and hostile) and then profane (I won't elaborate). Another job sub came over and tried to make things right; in the end, I wouldn't hire them to work on an older home.

Scheduled several estimates by other companies and chose Sage Homes based on their experience installing Velux windows, ability to do associated sheet rock work, and cost estimate. Eric Stendahl did initial estimates and was great in working with us to choose the right window models and in coordinating with the roofing company. Two window workers arrived on time and worked well with roofer and his employees. Josh Pangier, project manager, was excellent in coordinating work to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. Skylights were properly installed and sheetrock work to fill in space from old larger skylights was well done. Followup taping by Brad was excellent, he took time to make sure it was done properly. Each worker communicated well in setting up appointments, were courteous and professional and they did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each work session.

Project manager looked at crack in sheetrock and recommended a repair method and provided an estimate of the cost. Removal and repair was done in a short time and subsequent taping done with several follow up appointments to finish the taping. Workers were all professional and courteous, the quality of the work was good. They laid out dropcloth to protect carpet and cleaned up at the end of each workday. Communicated well to schedule work times and let me know when they were running on time or late. Overall a very good experience and no problems.

They included new windows, hardwood floors as well as other things. They did an excellent job and I've already recommended them to others.
