As always, Ron is friendly and courteous. Only issue is you never know quite when he's going to show up.

I've used Ron's Lawn Sprinkling for over 10 years. He installed the system on our home when we built it. Service is rarely punctual, but the quality, cost, and experience makes up for it. My neighbors on either side used a different company and over the years they've been fighting dry spots, mis-located lines, and lots of sprinkler head failures. Ron uses quality parts, and stands by his work. You just have to get past the odd hours and crazy scheduling.

My experience with Ron’s was very poor. I recommend other potential and existing customers steer clear.
The highlights (lowlights, really) from my experience are:
Ron bragged about how he does work “for free” for other customers and how many accounts he had in North Oaks and that he was “doing me a service” by just stopping out without calling when he was in the neighborhood. I didn’t receive any of the “free” or “service” he touted. Ron’s cost per service call ($30-35) seems reasonable, but becomes very unreasonable quickly when it takes 3+ service calls to do what should get done in one. I have a feeling the folks in North Oaks who have accounts with Ron’s are being taken for a ride. It sickens me that I actually paid this guy for what he did and couldn’t get him off my property fast enough.
Here is my idea of service:
Suffice it to say that Ron’s idea of service and mine are not in alignment. If this is your idea of how service should go, given my experience, I don’t believe you will get it from Ron’s.
The highlights (lowlights, really) from my experience are:
· Incorrectly blamed pre-existing failures of the system on recent fence install
· Showed up unexpectedly and when I was not home twice – once after I explicitly told him I wanted to meet with him in person
· Performed partial work without being clear on expectations and authorization to proceed
o No estimate providedo Required additional service call(s)
· Replaced a fully functional sprinkler head and charged me for a new one
- · Charged for additional service call because he didn’t do a complete job the first time – and the job still was not complete after two visits
· Charged me for a second sprinkler head but didn’t leave the old one as was done previously – left me questioning if the head was changed out or if the existing one was just relocated
· Relocated the wrong sprinkler head – one that was already on my property vs. the one that was not
· Lied about having the garage code from previous owners – they didn’t have a garage code, we installed it after purchase

Here is my idea of service:
· Call for service
· Set up a time to review work to be done
· Receive estimate
o Whato How much
· Authorization to proceed given
· Work performed and billed
· Bill paid

It has gone very well every time I have used him.

He is very easy to work with. He sends out a mailer to let you know when he will be in the area to do the work. He is very easy to schedule with and I have nothing to worry about since I know he is going to take care of the system for me.
