We have been in multiple times for the dogs.

A's across the board for everything. They are ineradicable. I would use them again. One of our dogs has diabetes and is very ill. They have taken incredible care of her. Other than that it is regular health issues. They are great, and wonderful. We have been to other vets and they do not have the same response, professionalism, and accuracy in their treatments.

Its the closest vet to our house. The vet just loves the dogs. Thy are perfect. They take excellent care. They took care of an dog that had cancer, and they had to put him to death. They were phenomenal in making us feel good.

They had to put the dog under in the car and then they came out and did their thing. He was more comfortable in the car and couldn't walk it off.

Their price is about the same as other vets. The vet interacts with our pets very well. We have a difficult dog. He's a big dog and when he needs his nails clipped, only certain people can do it. They've worked out a method of doing it with the right people. Basically, they have a couple of big guys that just about sit on the dog to make him sit still. They get it done quickly. The dog, of course, whines and cries, but he's not being hurt. We had one vet for this particular dog. They didn't want any of the other vets dealing with this particular dog because in the vet-environment, you didn't know what would frighten him. They tried to put him under to clip his nails and he refused to go under. He walked it off. They've even, one time, stay in my car, in my van, and they came out to the van to clip his nails. They really seem to care about the animals and they don't try and get you to extend the life of a pet just for the sake of making more money from  you. They give you their honest opinion about the state of the animal. They don't sugar-coat it, but they don't make is sound pliable either. They're good at handling how they describe the medical problems of the dogs. We had a cat in there too and they were great with that cat too, who eventually died of kidney failure. I have a dog that is going into kidney failure too.

They are excellent.  A bit pricey, but worth it.

We have a hunting dog and the vets there are very knowledgable about hunting breeds. The vets get down on the floor with the dog and don't stress her out by putting her up on a cold sterile table.

My female border collie/retriever mix had a swollen ear. Found out it was a hematoma. Dr. Morrow drained the ear and explained to me and my husband what she had done and what we needed to do and look for in the next couple of weeks. My dog's ear looks great and she isn't bothered by it.
Rockford Road has also taken care of my pure bred border collie since he was a puppy and recently for for vestibular incident. The staff are excellent. They are professional and caring. They go above and beyond because they all of pets of their own and understand what we pet owners are feeling. I know that whenever I bring my two dogs in they are being cared for by the best which eases my anxiety. I highly recommend them.

I found Rockford Road Animal Hospital through Angie's List and was pleased to find that they weren't just very close to home and highly rated...but they offered free exams for newly rescued pets. Our pug is still quite shy with new humans and everyone was very accommodating to that. We were able to take our time letting her get acquainted with the room and she warmed up quickly to the vet. They went over the records that we had for her, found the boosters she needed, took vitals, talked about health goals, and trimmed her nails. I was only charged for the rabies shot, heart guard meds, and a stool sample lab.

Excellent! Everyone from the front desk to the vet was very attentive and caring. They even brought in a 2nd tech to give me a lesson on trimming my cat’s nails and cleaning his ears. This was an introductory visit to this vet-had never been there before. Had only gotten my cat last summer and was looking for a local area vet that I felt comfortable with. Everything about this visit was positive. Only thing I didn’t like is that there are no boarding kennels. They work with another vet if the pet needs to stay overnight. Other than that, I highly recommend this clinic.

Wonderful. Reviewed my dogs file and latest bloodwork. Called the University for the latest diet for my dogs condition. Followed up with a phone call ti see how she was doing. I am very pleased.

Went very well. Really like this clinic and will definitely continue with them!

My dog feels comfortable when we go in there for a visit.

My experience with them was very positive. The front desk staff are very friendly, and our dog just loves them because they always greet not only the owner, but also the pets the pets that come in. The vet was very open to questions and they are very good about not rushing us through the appointment and they were very thorough. The actual vets office is a pleasant space. Some place I have checked out had bad smell and stuff like that and it's not like there at all. So, the checkup rooms and the front desk area are all just very pleasant. I think they are pretty comparable.

They were wonderful. I was not even a client and they took me in the same day. He explained what could be going on and gave me options for treatment. I knew they were totally booked that day and yet he took the time to make sure I understood what was going on and the choices that I had. The pricing was very fair. I found him through Angies list and will definitely stay with this vet.

Rockford Road Animal Hospital has a very beautiful setting. One of my dogs was having a really hard time and they said to bring him in. I took him in but I said I would not leave him there. I talked to Dr. Bruce and even though it was his day off, he called me and helped me. They are very kind. They have several exam rooms and rooms where they have to put the dogs down, and they make sure it is noted in your chart that they never bring you in that room again. So, they are very conscientious about your feelings. They also have pictures of your dog on bulletin boards. It is a very clean and professional looking place with a nice, warm fireplace and coffee and all. The receptionists are all very nice and friendly.

The staff and doctors are wonderful. My dog loves going to the vet and I like the fact that everyone is so caring, helpful, and professional. I cannot imagine taking my dog anywhere else for care.

I am able to consistently get the same veterinarian. There is continuity of care. There is large range of services offered including surgery. I have been using them from the past 10 years. They are fantastic.

Great care and service, we use them for everything

The staff is excellent, professional and knowledgeable. Our previous vet didn't diagnose the ACL issues even with several complaints, and the vet at Rockford knew within a couple of mins what the issue could be and requested we do an xray. The surgery went well, they work with an external orthopedic surgeon but they took care of all the pre and post op.
