Jim had provided us an estimate the previous year which he kindly honored. Not only was the work on schedule but Jim squeezed our job in before a really hot weekend thankfully - our dogs were most happy. Jim was great. Even over the winter he called me back on a couple of issues we had with our furnace. very attentive, responsive and just a good guy doing good work.

Pride was on time, friendly and professional. My AC was taking a long time to cool the house. They determined it was an easy fix since my unit had not been cleaned for 7 years. They also adjusted registers for the optimal cool air flow. I was very comfortable with the way they looked at all options for my AC problem and did not try to oversell me on an expensive fix.

Jim answered - said he was the only one there (holiday). When I described the problem, he agreed to come out (even thought we are a bit outside his normal service area). He arrived at the time he had given us, performed required repairs, and charged what seemed like a very reasonable amount. The service was courteous and professional, and fixed the problem.

I was referred to Jim by a carpenter and was desperate for a heating company who could figure out our problem after my original contractor was failing to start the job. Jim showed up with a great attitude and slowly studied the existing house layout and came up with a plan to redesign it based on our remodeling that was already in progress. His assessment of the layout was quite different from my original contractor and was more proficient. He had quite the challenge and was very professional in what he did. He is very easy to work with and his work is top quality. At one point, I applied some store bought silver heating tape to tape a duct that Jim hadn't worked on. Later, I noticed that it had been removed and asked him about it. He explained to me that the tape I used didn't have the proper labeling stamped on it to make it "code worthy" so he replaced it. That impressed me very much because it showed me that he cares about what he does. Our home is from the 1940's and he had to run duct work through very difficult spots and the system works great now, more efficient than it has ever been.

I would recommend them to anybody! The guy that was here was very thorough and did double checks on everything.

We took bids from four other HVAC companies who were more concerned about the deals they offered rather than the work they would do. Jim gave us a bid that included specific prices and choices to choose from so that we could weigh our options. Jim pays attention to details. He sells you what you actually need rather than pushing products on you that aren't necessary. He was the first HVAC person we met who actually explained how the work would be done. In the end, he custom fitted the sheet metal and reconfigured the gas pipe so that the entire system nestled perfectly into our small utility room space. We couldn't be happier with the end result. From the moment we contacted Pride, the communication by phone and by email was fast and first-rate. We highly recommend Pride Heating and Air Conditioning.
